Great news, this park is easy one of the top ones I want to visit that I haven't done.

Thing is, I can't help but feel like this is another SheiKra - Griffon. I wish they got a flyer or something a bit more orignial as opposed to getting what Busch Gardens in Tampa got the year before but make it a bit different.

Still, no doubt both the rides will be awesome. Cheetaka is looking pretty good, and if they push it a bit more like they did with Griffon then this should be a pretty good coaster. I'm sure the 'firsts' are what's going to make it different to Cheetaka.

A lot of people think the coaster wont be intamin, because BGE hate intamin. I mean, what major park gets a drop tower... but not an intamin?

I think it's odd that BG E and A are run so differently... But apparently they are.

I find that very interesting actually, considering on paper they appear to have quite a few similarities (such as the ones that I pointed out), but if this isn't Intamin then that'll be great! Play the unique card.

On a side note, I don't like the way Busch Gardens in Florida is, so that makes me want to go here ever MORE now.

I admire a park who doesn't like Intamin. They're one of the companies that offer so much variety it must force a popular park to be so creative by getting what Intamin offer via other means.

^Uh, duh, because they don't have a coaster from them already, and if you don't already have one, it means you will NEVER build one. I mean, look at all the parks Busch owns, no Intamins and none of them are building one...

No one's quite sure. All that we know is that it'll be a multi-launch coaster with several "world's firsts"

I would put my money on Intamin. There are rumors that B&M has developed a launch system, but there have been similar rumors for years, so we don't know how accurate the rumors are.

^ You mean like the B&M launcher that were going to be built at Tivoli Gardens in the coming years, but unfortunately was put on hold for the time being??

My guess would be on an Intamin, since they might have gotten a good deal by adding 2 coasters at their parks...

B&M launched wingwalker, or you know what, how about an LSM Intamin multi launch coaster? Yeah, probably one of the two. Or an intamin wingwalker. With 6 launches that goes 460 feet tall with a 900 degree twist on the way down.

BGW has applied for additional permits for their 2012 coaster... Including a pretty large building. Which begs the question, indoors section?

Everyone's assuming this multi-launcher is going to be an Intamin, but as my friend just pointed out to me, this is the park that wanted a large drop tower and didn't order an Intamin.

^That's a pretty big building. Maybe it's the queue and station, who knows, but it's a big building.

Yeah, okay, and its sister park just ordered a huge one.

So...yeah, I think the whole "BGT is getting one and the same sort of thing happened with the Dive Machines a few years ago" logic wins out.
Totally agree, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.

Giant moser drop tower? When, Intamin have the greatest experience with drop towers, why on earth would you go elsewhere? Do moser even have another giant drop tower? Cost at a chain like Seaworld is hardly an issue. I suppose the tower might do something Intamin couldn't provide.

How much of it will actually be inside. From what I've seen the area around where BBW was was rather hilly, could they still put a building on there?

Anyway, I found it stranely exciting watching that video. The drama of will it be approved, interesting considering how dull those sorts of meetings are.

Wow.

I've never actually watched anything on that in-depth scale before and knew how planning permissions worked.

Some things really sound interesting about this coaster. The fact he mentioned that the coaster would "Launch INTO the building". Whether he meant it will launch IN the building before exiting and doing some of the elements or whether he actually meant it will be an outdoor launch into the building to do a lot of the track length, is compelling.

I like how he also mentions that it would "follow the old path of The Big Bad Wolf", I know when everybody heard that it would be a replacement for The Big Bad Wolf, people probably already thought it would do this, this is a clear sign of the length of the coaster. I'll be looking forward to seeing what they do with the drop over the ravine. That could be pretty fun.

He also mentioned about them re-using some of the supporting system from The Big Bad Wolf. That could provide for some pretty interesting supporting on the ride.

At the end of the meeting how they said "Approved", this may be a silly question but does that also mean that the coaster has been approved, or does it mean that it's been approved to go through another planning permission stage?

The theme sounds ****. Black forest... and racing. Yeah doesn't fit BGE. But anyway... This is from... http://www.screamscape.com/html/busch_g ... msburg.htm

I like Uber Bahn or Verbolten... it doesn't sound as much racing as just going really fast through the woods, if you know what I mean.

As in, not Rita-esque racing, more like racing on a secluded german road... or something. :p
