Oblivion IS themed, very well infact. Theme does not have to be loud and in-your-face like a certain invert across the park to be good. Oblivion works just as well as Nemesis because the ride is themed to a secret government experiment crossed with a bit of 1984 and sci-fi, so the machinery, cameras, flashing lights and videos work very well. They are subtle but because of this it works because it feels natural as well as strong. You do not need a station shaped like a giant alien with a gun pointing at it and a huge hole with fake blood in it to have themeing, sometimes more subtle effects work just aswell. That isn't to say Nemesis' theme is poor for being loud, it's fantastic, one of the best in the world, but Oblivions much less obvious theme works just aswell, and the ride type works brilaintly with it, although the theme was around before the ride, back in 1992 when the first SW was planned, the theme seems to be built for the ride and the ride apears to have been there first with the theme based around it. The man in the video, and the videos themselves talk about the ride, and even specificaly mention it being a vertical drop ride, the whole theme is based on the ride, where as Nemesis could have been any type. Sorry for picking on Nemesis for this but it's a simple way of explaining my point because it is in the same park and it's theming is so famously good and strong.
