Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
- One of the, if not the best Inverted coasters in Alpengeist (certainly better than Batman).
- One of the best Mega Coasters in the world in Apollo's Chariot (certainly better than Goliath).
- A fantastic Dive Machine in Griffon.
- Unique interlocking loop element and one of the best Arrow coasters in Loch Ness Monster.
- An extremely fun-looking and uniquely themed launcher (and family coaster?) in Verbolten.
- A decent choice for a kiddie coaster in Grover...
- And when it was there, Big Bad Wolf was also a very good and fun coaster.
There's no weak link, every ride is excellently themed and use the terrain very well, the variety is clearly there, and almost every coaster type is a proven winner... Best of all, every coaster is a lot of fun!
The problem with SFMM for me is that every coaster has incredible potential, but they've managed to screw it all up somehow... When I went in 2011, X2's audio wasn't working which detracted a TON from the ride, Goliath felt forceless and had zero airtime (before, it was sitting in my top 10, but it has now dropped down), and Tatsu was closed but I just remember it squashing my balls and making me feel ill in 2009
Scream! is a big pile of parking lot crap (I'd be the first to admit I'm not a fan of B&M Floorless coasters, although SFDK's Medusa is decent). I've never been on a B&M Stand-Up that hasn't felt like being in a boxing match, whist rides like Ninja (which was a massive let-down after BBW the year before in 2008) and Viper and Gold Rusher are really nothing special, and Revolution is one of the worst coasters which I've been on.
So yeah, that's one of the reasons why I've already said BGW is one of the best parks I've ever been to whilst SFMM is not.
