Best Park in Florida

Giga Poster
Now I don't live in Florida, but I know they have some great amusement parks like Busch Gardens, Sea World, and Universal. I was wondering what people think is the best Florida park because if I ever get the chance to go back there it certainly won't be for Disneyworld :p

My favourite was Islands of Adventure - really immersive park and also home to the best dark ride I've ever been on :D

Although I also loved the others but in different ways :D

Sorry, but which dark ride were you referring to? Jurassic Park? I don't know much about the park besides it's coasters...

The Spiderman one I'm guessing?- I loved that ride.

Has to be the Universal parks for me too.... ****ing epic.

I don't know. I feel like Busch Gardens looks like it has epic coasters...nothing against Incredible Hulk though...

There is so much more to a 'theme' park than just coasters. BGT is fantastic, granted with some brilliant coasters, but I think the experiance and overall quality of a day out is much better at Universal (across the two parks).

Although I get what you're saying, I did say "amusement park" not "theme park" on purpose. I mean, yes, theming can be fun and quaint, but I'm all about the coasters. Thanks for the input :)

In terms of parks that I love, whether it be for the rides, or basic general atmosphere and time had there, it'd be between IOA and Animal Kingdom. Both of them are amazing <3

I was referring to Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey - it also has an amazing queue line :D

I get where you are coming from, but the dark rides at Universal aren't really the quaint Disney-esque type I guess... they tend to be a bit more edgy and fast paced, and to compare them to stuff like Buzz Lightyear or whatever at Disney is ignoring their true nature.
Rides like Spiderman and Harry Potter are at the top of their game, and even if you are a big time coaster fan, those two are worth the effort.

Plus it's not as if you'd be missing out coaster wise with a trip to Universal...Havent been on Rip Ride Rockit, but Hulk and Dueling Dragons (sorry, Dragon Challenge) were both among my favourites.

Of course, when you go to Orlando, you gotta visit Sea World, Busch and both Universals anyway. I figure that if you've already forked out your "fixed" costs for flights and accommodation you might as well get a flexi pass and see it all, since they are all pretty epic parks.

For me it's split between BGT and both Universal parks together.

As for coasters, BGT definitely has it, especially with Cheetah Hunt coming up. Like Snoo said, IoA/USF doesn't have as good of a coaster selection, but their dark rides, water rides, ect. make up for it.

If this is actually like a vacation question, get a flex pass or whatever's offered and hit them all up. They're so close to each other, it's really worth it.

When I went last year, I said Busch Gardens was the best park. But now IOA has the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is supposed to be amazing. But then again there is Cheetah Hunt for Busch next year. So I'm torn.

i agree id never go back to disneyland, my favourite park that i went to in florida has got to be busch gardens, so many great rides, but manta and kraken for sea world is great to! im sure island of adventure is good aswell but i have never been there!
