What's the best and worst mascot?

I like Linnanmaki's mascot, Rollo-Geek. I just like the bright colors on the costume and the smile. Also he's the themeing for Kirnu. :)

Worst is the Hershey's Kiss from Hersheypark.

What's your opinion?
 
I have sentimental memories of the mascots I met at parks when I was young. After all, mascots are aimed at kids anyway imo. Nowadays I don't pay much attention, although the witch at Toverland is fab.

It didn't need fixing, Mickey is the smug one, always trying to be the centre f attention. Donald is just permanently pissed off, and rightly so, some twatty mouse is constantly stealing the limelight!

I loved the DLP Jack Skellington, but he was turd last year ;) :p

I hate generic mouse costumes. There must be hundreds of them. Gullivers has Gully, erm, Great Yarmouth PB has one too (he grabbed MMF (well, enticed him) into a photo booth where I wasn't allowed to take photos, but I have one somewhere, just can't find it). You see the moth eaten costumes of a really standard looking mouse thing and it's just dreadful. It's even worse than Mickey because these things essentially all look the same:

I'm sure you can find more mouse mascots for other parks.

The Creaky Beavers too from Blackpool are pretty dreadful. Unkempt like a 70's beaver:

There are a couple of Chessington Dragons that are cool too, but I can't find photos of when we met them at Alton :( I need to seriously sort out my photos :lol: ).

The Alton bear was also quite cute for the limited time it was about:

Just thought of another one. The worst mascot in the WORLD is...

The cat from Lake Winnepesaukauh.
Also I hate Europa Park's mouse.


Percy The Owl is my new favorite beating Rollo-Geek from Linnanmaki. I don't know what it was about Rollo-Geek anyway, it just was kind of cute I guess.
 
You know, I got a thought from this thread. What about Japanese theme park mascots! Surely knowing them they'd have some sort of adorably cute and absurd mascots like their business companies.

Alas, they don't. How ****.
 
Hate Mickey Mouse.

I guess the best is Snoopy because who can hate Snoopy!

I'm really starting to warm to you.

I can't stand the whole thing, especially at Disney. "Oooooh, I met Mickey!" No, you didn't. You met some failed actor in a costume. "I had my photo taken with Belle!" No, you didn't. You had your photo taken with some slut who was too stupid to get a job as an air hostess.
 
^Great, you "met" a costume and had your photo taken with a dress. Even better.

You're just jealous because I got a hug from Sid the Sloth at towers today!! :lol:
 
I've always been terrified of mascots/'face' characters; that's why you've never seen me in a picture with any Disney mascot or whoever else (although, as a side note, the number 1 most photographed people at Disney besides the characters are the Tower of Terror cast, because they're freaking awesome).

I blame it on visiting Pleasurewood Hills as a child and seeing Woody's horrifying smile coming towards me!
