Belantis amusement park acquired by Compagnie des Alpes

CdA have a good relationship with Intamin - especially at the current Asterix - and they've got a family launched coaster as part of their catalogue, so I guess they can't be ruled out entirely either
Yea, I reckon that's fair, hadn't considered that. I did hear in September that they made a fair number of 2027 coaster sales on the first day of IAAPA's European Expo, this would probs be a good contender given the size.

EDIT: A German manufacturer has been confirmed; https://www.facebook.com/groups/999583053577313

I wonder if something like Mecalodon might be on the cards if the manufacturer is German?

Compagnie des Alpes like Gerstlauer, Gerstlauer would fit the brief of German, and Mecalodon is supposed to be excellent!

Slightly better quality version:

This precreation makes it look like an airtime coaster:

Personally I've been back and worth between thinking it looks more like airtime coaster vs like a family coaster.
For the moment leaning more towards family coaster. It reminds me of Defi Du Dragon in it's structure, meaning: launch from an elevated position -> traversing layout section -> entering swing launch section -> launching over a kind of double up (the differences between the two layouts are obvious, but it's still the most similiar thing Gerstlauer has built). Also in the artwork the elements look a little tame for an airtime coaster and the completely flat swing launch track would be an odd choice given Mecalodons launches over small airtime hills.

Belantis’s website has been updated to more closely resemble the Walibi parks in aesthetic and layout (it previously had the standard Parques Reunidos look to it):

Their new season pass is in line with other CdA parks where passholders get a 50% discount on day tickets to the chain’s sister parks:

The park’s Halloween event has also been expanded to Wednesday-to-Sunday during the last two weeks of October as opposed to just Friday and Saturday, with the park being open to 9 P.M. on all operating days:
