Hi guys. It would appear that Adventureland in Long Island (the park home to Turbulence) has announced that they are building North America’s first RES Roller Ball for 2022:

I’m not sure what layout this is, but it should certainly be an exciting addition!

Wilde Hilde music intensifies

Last month, on October 21, they filed trademarks for FIREBALL and FIRE BALL with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. For when the links expire, they can be seen at serial numbers 97086693 and 97086680.

Looks like they're going to cram it into their northwest corner, close to the swings. The miniature disk'o ride and teacups in the immediate vicinity have already either been dismantled or repositioned elsewhere (both are staying). It will be located a ways away from the two existing coasters.

Sure the coaster looks fine but it's one of the dullest coaster experiences I have ever had.

I guess there’s not that much they could do with a plot that small - good on them for installing a coaster that kids may enjoy (and view as a bit intimidating given its height), even if the experience for adults is reportedly completely meh.

Wow; that site is tiny! I don't know if the picture is throwing the perspective off a little, but that plot doesn't even look big enough to hold something like a kiddie coaster (certainly nothing larger than, say, a Zierer Force Zero or Zamperla Family Gravity Coaster 80STD), so to fit an RES Roller Ball in there is an incredible use of space by the park, in my opinion!

Yeah these things have a tiny footprint! Just a shame that the ride itself is so dull. I rode Wilde Hilde twice tbf, but that was only as I was so hooked on the soundtrack.
