When you're counting down to something, do you include the day you're on?
So do you see it as 24 days until Xmas or 23?

I say 24 but the music channels are saying 23?

It's hard to say, because it kinda switches for me. Sometimes I either don't count the day of, or don't count the day before whatever it is that I am counting down to (th day before is pretty exciting too), but either way it ends up being one less than the actual number.

Plus, when it's one less, it makes it seem closer than it is.

I count the day depending on how far through the day we are. So say if it's 10pm then I won't count it. But if it's the morning or still got quite a bit of the day left then I'll count it.

Nah I don't include the day I'm on, it's 'from tomorrow' for me when I'm counting down....

I kinda count the day im on but thats due to how I work it out, i just think 25 - 1 = 24 and so on, and when it gets to 24 you cant say 0 days or that'd mean it was xmas on december 24th.

I count sleeps, and sleeps = days.

Also forgive me because i'm new but I didn't bother readin lain's earlier post before I made mine so sorry for basically re typing what lain wrote. And no need to get cocky ollie just because you were late to the party

Lol I just had an argument with my parents about this. I tend to count this day unless it's like 10 pm or late in the day.
