2013 Enthusiast Bucket List

The most realistic bucket list item for me presently: Become an active/respected member of this site, as opposed to a long time video-lurker.

And the various other bucket list items that are probably not going to actually happen, in no specific order.

-Go upside down at least once on a wooden coaster.
- Experience Gatekeeper
-Work my 4th year at my Haunt (please and thank you, potential college)
-At least one new park cred.

I'd like to see if I can get to 400 (40 odd to go).

Finland should get me about half way there (I'm pretty sure I'll be going, may do my own mini add on, money/job permitting!).

Obviously, gonna do towers for SW7

would really like to do the new credz at farup and djurs

Don't think I'll be able to get to the us live this time round

have about 20 odd little UK parks I still need to get the creds at!

I just want to get more creds!

This.

More specifically though -

Get all the creds in Florida.
Visit some of the smaller parks in the UK instead of my usual Thorpe, Alton etc.
Visit another European county.

-Go to some German Fairs.
-Get the rest of the UK creds I haven't got yet.
-Go to a few European Countries on the cheap and whore myself.
-Go back to Tel Aviv and get the creds I couldn't be bothered to do last year.

OK my list of achievements for 2013

Raise CC - Get cred count from 74 to 150 (Tash has bet me I cant achieve this so if I can I not only do I get to prove her wrong and act all smug, I get a nice little prize also)

Hit the US - This would make the above list much easier, really want to get to Cedar Point, Hersheypark, SFGAdv and whatever else we can throw in (Kennywood, Dorney perhaps)

Paris - Really want to get to Paris this year, my brothers just got back and he is all kinds of up in my face that he has Disney creds I don't have, not only that but obviously Asterix also.

European Halloween event - Perhaps Europa?

Attend GhosterForce

Sweep up some smaller parks - Generally avoiding the likes of TP and AT, I want to get Bottons, Clacton Pier, Wicksteed and Pleasure Island done this year.

You'll need to do a lot to get it up by 76!

I was a little bit disappointed that mine only went up by 51 even though I visited quite a few new parks this year: Twin Lakes, Parque Warner and Parque d'Atracciones Madrid, Parc Asterix, Jardin + Paris fairs and all the parks in Orlando.

- Get my count to 400
- Actually do a new EXCEL list of my coasters since I LOST my other one </3
- Go back to Disneyworld in Florida

Yah I dunno that's about it I don't really have huge goals for this year because like, my money situation is crap so I'm being realistic instead of hopeful :p

Since I'm going to London this year I will probably go to both Thorpe and Chessington and try to beat my own record at riding Colossus in a row, I'm aiming at 5 times in a row since my current record is 4.

Since I'm not planning on dying this year, I don't have a 2013 bucket list.

Probably going to California in the summer, and there's plenty lot to take care of there. Also, I really have no excuse for not having The Green Lantern and Wooden Warrior by now, other than I really just don't care that much about going back to GrAdv and Quassy is boring.

Yeah you're right, I have worked out there's about 100 to be had, about 20 in the UK, 17 in Paris (Asterix, Jardin, Disney) 11 at Europa, but it really will boil down to the US, there's 40 at Cedar Point, SFGAdv and Hershey, with a possible 15 more if we decide to do Kennywood and Dorney.

But then even if we do manage it, there's potential spites and what not, so yeah going to be difficult, but always up for the challenge :)

I WANT to do another TPR or TPR-style road trip over the next couple of years. Their Texas/Mid-West Tour sounds amazing, and I heard some CFers are interested in holding a trip to similar areas in 2014 which I'd definitely be interested in.

Realistically speaking, this year will likely be very, very quiet for me theme park-wise. I need to graduate and find a job which I'm happy with; but once I find a job, the chances I'll be allowed enough time off to do a decent sized trip will probably be slim. If I'm extremely, extremely lucky I'll get on the BA graduate programme and get cheap flights all over the world, or I'll get on the Merlin programme and get deployed to work somewhere interesting. The chances are slim, but there's no harm in applying.

I should hit 400 easily. Family Alton Towers trips are always going to happen, so that'll leave me with 1 more credit to find. The CF Finland trip is very tempting, but it all depends on money, job and general life.

Ahaha...the bane that is Pteranodon Flyers!

In 2013, rather than get as many creds as poss, I want to get as many types of coaster which I haven't experienced yet. Main ones include: Zac Spin, Sky Loop, Mega-Lite, a 300ft B+M, ..a stand-up which isn't Shockwave at Drayton Manor

Also need to finally visit Lightwater Valley and Fantasy Island for the first time; and would love to do the Halloween events in Florida.

In order of likelihood:
1. Gatekeeper
2. King's Island
3. BGW
4. Hershey
5. Silver Dollar City (Wish I could put this at #1)
Oh, and a first-ever COASTERFORCE LIVE somewhere in there!

1. Trip to Cedar Point, Kennywood, and Knoebels for the first time.
2. Convince my Dad to go to some amusement park on our way to Mississippi.
3. Ride Zoomerang at Compounce since I've never been on it.
4. Just boost my coaster count in general.
5. Like coaster_rider93 said attend a CF Live but I think that will have to wait a year.

In order of it likely to be happening, here is my list.

- Save money for a 2014 US trip.
- Clean Denmark for credits!
- Visit a small park close to Denmark, called Tolk Schau.
- Hit the 100 mark, (Unlikely to happen)

Finally tick Clacton off the list
Get the Eastbourne cred if it's not been spited yet
Get past the 300 mark
Squeeze in another quick hop to Europe (Madrid?)

NEW Bucket List

-Go to Dollywood (going there in May)
-Get to BGW and KD in September or October.
-Go to Waterville USA
-Reach 25 creds
-Make I-305 my 25th coaster
-RIDE INTENSE COASTERS
-Ride my first Hyper, Giga, Winged, Eurofighter, Kiddie, GCI, Dive Machine, Inverted, and Floorless coaster

- The Smiler (I'm 100% this is going to happen)
- Ride a B&M, backwards!
- Go to a CF-Live outside the country.
- Visit Flamingoland (a park I've been wanting to visit for years, for some reason...)
- Hands up through the duration of a drop-tower (from start to finish)
- Appreciate a ride I previously disliked (i.e. Th13teen, Shockwave, Avalanche...)
- Visit Europa Park/Heide Park.

Revised list:

- Get to Cedar Point and the height and speed milestones
- Head to Silver Dollar City to ride Outlaw Run and the other sexy's there.
- Ride American Eagle for the 25th time.
