2012 Olympics

Dunno why, I mean, all the girls have small tits and only about 2 of 'em are attractive...but oh well.

Is there a problem with small boobs?

Why does everyone think 2012 is gonna be a disaster? What makes you think your country won't do just as good of a job as any other country? Talk about pessimistic people.. Lol.

Why is going to be a ****ing disaster!? Its going well its on time, may be over-budget, but you couldn't predict how much it really cost.

^Because, basically, the U.K. has proven itself time and time again to be really crap at large-scale, spectacular events.

Anyone remember how wonderful the Millenium Dome was?

Btw, the Red Arrows aren't banned people, just to clarify. I believe its something to do with high rise buildings surronding the Olympic Site, so it be too dangerous...and if they did fly over it be quite high up.
I swear I read in the news last year that the Red Arrows were banned from the 2012 Olympics because they were "too militaristically British". It may of changed now as I'm not following the Olympics at all.

Nah, somebody said that they thought they probably wouldn't let them because of that, the the Daily Fail yelled "RED ARROWS BANNED AT OLYMPICS".

The truth was, the people running the Olympics wouldn't say to the RAF if they wanted the Red Arrows or not, as they hadn't actually worked on the "entertainment" at that point.

Immediately some Colonel somewhere went to the Daily Fail and spouted some bull**** that everyone lapped up. None story.

I'm only really interested in the swimming part of the Olmpics and the track and field, and the opening and closing ceremonies.

They shouldn't try to make it the best Olympics ever, as someone already said, they should try to make it their own. All the British stuff, fish and chips, tea, ect.

The Olympic site is a lot further along than the media wish you to believe. I've been to see it and it will be fine.

I'll be watching. And this time round I'll make sure that I'm in this country. I remember the 2004 Olympics I was in France, and all they ever showed was bloody fencing. The French are obsessed with it.

The 2012 Olympics is being advertised everywhere especially with Lloyd's TSB. But are you actually interested in the Olympics?

To be honest I'm not and can't understand why its as popular as it is. They are spending a huge amount of money on advertising it and also look at how much the logo cost to be created.

Why? It's not representative of the cost at all. The "£440,000 cost" of the olympics logo was yet another media mistruth. That cost represented the design of the logo, other branding and advertising work, and further services of Wolff Olins for 5 years.

Wolff Olins spent over one £1m in costs to secure the prestige of the Olympic logo (and it was unfortunate that it was rubbish) and only charged a third of their outgoings to London 2012, thereby meaning they got an excellent deal for what they paid.

It would appear once again, you can't believe what you read in the media. They have papers to sell, and "Olympic projects ticking along nicely" as a headline isn't going to sell many papers. For further information, see "Red Arrows at 2012 Olympics".

When I went to visit the location last year it was well ahead of schedule so much so they were able to test the seats in the stadium as they had 3/4 of it up. But the best story the papers could get to try tarnish it was they had a Latvian construction worker, and tried to milk the story....pitiful.

Can tell your not British with your disgusting out dated stereotypes. Maybe me should turn up with monocles and upper-class accents driving Bentley Blower V8s.

The Olypics is all about the best of human phsycial achievements, so each Olympics should try to be the best.

And no, it won't happen 2012, maybe 2112, but not 2012. We are going to ruin it with our stupid PC gone mad, paranoid, global-bloody-warming-mad country.

**** OFF! Please can we just have an Olypmics!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All just makes me so angry.

Which sounds better?
"British people drink tea and eat cucumber sandwiches. They are upper class and rich with a refined (to foreigners: sophisticated and sexy) accent."
or
"British people vandalise property, are incomprehensible, get drunk and live in a country which is a wreck."

I know the second one isn't true, but neither is the first one and I'm just illustrating that I'd rather be posh than a chav.

Yes but remember what resources China has. They put on such stunning shows because they've got the workers and the money to do it. There's no way in hell we could put on anything like that so as long as it's on a large enough scale, it'll do.

As people have said, the media give the impression that the organisation is not going to plan. People have seen that it is.

Calm down. It's not going to be as bad as you think it is.

It may end up on time, but it will still be ruined by PC and Global-bloody-Warming. Welcome to the greenest, PC-ist show on Earth! Not quite the same as welcome to the greatest, most exciting and amazing show on Earth!"

But it will be great to see Usain Bolt run in the flesh.

This is meant to be the Olympic Games which the environment is taking a major step, its not going to effect the games itself, but how it'll look, like the area will be a green area where people can sit, have picnics and enjoy it, not a massive tarmac area.
The infastructure in London is great, they are about to open a DLR station and a brand new train station adjacent to the stadium, so that will ferry peopel to and from the stadium.

I would rather kill myself that read that disgusting rag. I will never read that filthy lying excuse for a paper even if my life depended on it. I'm pretty sure you know what The S*n has done, and to suggest any one who supprts Liverpool (and is from the North West) would read it is quite possibly the most offensive thing you can say. I am deeply hurt by that.

They are pandering to every little thing, for example, they have spent millions redesigning everything so none of the bogs face the Mecca. They are so scared of upsetting anyone at all and are wasting time trying to make it completely un-offensive. I'd expect there will be a shop selling full pirate regaila.

The Sun comment wasn't meant to be offensive. You really didn't need to take it personally.

edit: comment was supposed to go before yours.

Well it was, and I did, even if you didn't mean it. I can see you didn't mean it to be offensive but it was very offensive and very personal.

Sorry.

London 2012 is the 30th Olympic games, which I noticed spells the XXX Olympic Games. Sounds good ;)
