    Oblivion to receive a repaint

I think it is still half relief that it isn't fluorescent orange! Looks nice though. It needed it. I hope they get the whole of X-Sector looking good for The Smiler.

    Thorpe Park | Snoozebox hotel

If they would open up the park late into the evening in summer this could really work. They look kind of horrible but I like the idea to have a small space outside your room. I've been to Thorpe once when I got a lift because it's such a pain to get to by public transport. Alton Towers is...

    Top Spin Variance

I've only been on Ripsaw and the one at Tibidabo. It was July, boiling hot and I was sweating like a pig in Tibidabo. Never have I been more disappointed not to be sprayed in the face with water whilst hanging upside-down.

Worst coasters you've ridden (Bottom 5/10)

Re: Bottom 10 I don't really have ten but here are some stinkers: - Goudurix - Diablo (PortAventura) - Furius Baco (except the front seat, that was good) - X: WTF (lights on) - Shock Wave (Brean) - Shockwave (Drayton Manor) - Colossus (third time around - not that bad always) - SAW (for...

    Mother Nature and Theme Parks

Nothing worse than torrential rain but it only got to the point that they warned about ride closures. I think considering how easily I burn the summer sun in Salou should count as a natural hazard!

    Essay Help

Well, a liberal arts education historically (as in, when your classics were new releases ;P) was to prepare a person in all aspects of life that they would be encountering as an 'educated' person at that level of society. So now we can ask...why was it considered important and why was it...

    Essay Help

Yes, but we bore people with our truth and end up getting neither cock nor tail! That's good and, as a History undergrad myself, I agree with a lot of what you've said. Right on! :) Keep that in. I would say about History that if the present is a culmination of everything that has...

    Obesity

I think drinks are a strange one and a bit different from food. I don't like diet coke. It just tastes like the cheapo 20p little bottles of cola you'd get from newsagents for triple the price. But I just looked at a Coke bottle I have here and it is 26.5g of sugar or 29% of an adult's GDA. But...

    Room 101

My housemate was just peeling boiled eggs and eating them over the bin. Slurping them as well. I mean, I'm glad he's enjoying them but after a couple of doobies the slurping was amplified and it was messing with my groove a bit. It didn't help that the only other sound was the clock hahaha.

    Horror films!

I've seen 36 of the ones in the OP - some are far better than others. I like the original Chainsaw Massacre and the old-school slashers like Elm St and Halloween. Hellraiser is another personal favourite, I'm not sure if that was on the list. Demons are good in horror films but the actual...
