By coincidence i spotted these trucks driving up north.
Could this be related to Farup?
My first thought was parts for a tilt coaster 2.0, but this could off course be something different as i'm no steel expert ☺
But the comparison to the tilt section, location of trucks and colour scheme seemed...
The triple and single seems to hold a great mix of elements in a compact area. Not to sure about the double. Would love to see the triple in northern europe.
The video was uploaded 7 months ago, but only seem to appear now. Wonder if this has to do with some been sold and soon to be announced...
I wonder if Kirkbi / Lego group at some point will demand a long term investment and development plan before this potentially could have a boomerang effect and influence their UK branding in the GP and medias opinion. In the danish medias Mærsk and Lego always came across as companies with...
Interesting. I was there 4 years ago and enjoyed the park, (except blue tornado 😬)
Never got around trying ramses.
I dont recall, but who did the retrack on Shaman recently. Then, it may be a 2 coaster discount deal..?
From interviews and local articles they want a broad selection, which also is targeted at families with older children in their teens. They have a main focus on families at all ages, with a differentiated marketing. Not sure what the future holds.
Maybe :)
Its def interferring with their marketing as Denmarks biggest coasters. So will they switch their branding to something different or step up ??
Djurs pre-covid had a coaster mentioned in their application for the municipality originally set for 2021 and 2023. And their equity pre-covid was approx 6 times bigger then Fårup. So it might be a couple of years down the line, but not unrealistic.
Somehow I had the feeling since Piraten in Djurs sommerland, that they took the «big brother» role and wanted to show they could do bigger and better. And they market themselves as Denmarks biggest coasters. So maybe they will try and surpass Fårups new coaster stats next time. I don't quite...
Yes, this is what i am refering too, see above. From what i reed, there are no more facts to add. Rest is speculations.
But we can rule out a lech clone and speculate about a custom layout based on models like top gun, hyper space warp etc.
The construction and landscaping is set to 14 months, so one could expect a staggered opening sometime in june 22.
But not sure this is the potential award winning coaster, but perhaps should be seen as a seperate project.
I will go there in 3-4 weeks, and take a peep..
I'm not aware of any new pics.
But i saw from the municipality that Fårup got the approval for a new coaster 10.3.21. The documents states that the coaster will be named Woodland, reach 37m at the heighest point and the area covers 9700 m2. The station building will be 15m tall. It states that...
I would def not complain if they are getting a Lech clone.
If they could lapbars on Lynet and reduce the rattle on Falken in the near future, i would be a happy customer 😌
Its never been official from the park. In 2017, Djurs Sommerland applied to the Municipality for a supplement to the approval for the expansion of the amusement park in the period 2019-2023. These papers are online.
Yes, this is an important nuance to consider. Its a framework plan where...

It was planned in 2 stages.
So far stage 1 seems to partly fit with Tigeren...
I think a lot of us agree.
But everytime i've been there bondegårdsland is packed and filled with strollers in the relative compact area. So they do get to spread the crowds.
And if you look at the attendence increase (705k to 801k), they are probably hoping for a similar or even better...
