Re: "Skyrush" - Intamin Hyper - Hersheypark Loefet is absolutely correct. MF hits the brake run at 65 MPH and TTD hits them at 100 MPH and both only have lap bars (praise the lord).

When I first saw the lay-out, I too wanted the drop first, but after seeing the POV have changed my mind and think this lay-out and elements are coaster heaven. Now let's get one here in the states (please).

Re: Hersheypark's New Ride for 2012 I don't see or think there will be any brakes before the final turn and suspect the final brake run is right before the station based on the footer lay-out. To me anyways, the footers look more like MF or any of the RoS coasters brake runs.

While money does talk, I seriously doubt B&M is going to get into giga coasters given all their work with their 4D ride(s). If a giga is coming to Europe, my money is on Intamin.

To me, it looks like a launched version of MF and agree with Ben, that this not be a very thrilling ride, but just a fun ride, that's probably family friendly as well.

I couldn't agree more that this ride's POV was disapointing. I did some math too - using the video's timer, the ride duration is 75 seconds, so with over 6,500 feet of track, it's average speed is less than 70 MPH. To me, this ride is like the back half of MF - very fun, but not very thrilling.

I can't wait to see a POV and hear some reviews. I'd be more likely to make the trip if the "trims of death :--D " weren't there. KK goes 130 MPH and climbs 450 feet, FR goes 149 MPH and only climbs 170 feet - In many respects it's no different than Ring Racer (imo). What really surprises...
