Does anyone know what is going on with Xcelerator?

If I am not mistaken, Intamin still supports the model. Thereby there should be no issue in getting the parts. The only proble is the time that it may take to get them.

    "Now Showing"

Avatar: The Way of the Water - If meh can be used to describe a film than this is it. It gives me Rise of Skywalker vibes, though I wasn't offended by it. All the intrigue of the first movie was gone and the whole thing turned into a 3 hour family friendly conservationist advertisement.

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Maybe they temporarily removed the outer seats to fit it inside a shipping container? A standard shipping container is 2352mm wide on the inside, so it should fit. Maybe to send it back to Italy? The mounts and screws are left for the outer seats.

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

With the old Kraken colours. Except for the obvious B&M track I like it, the layout is indeed original. Two Immelmans, a vertical loup, and the off axis airtime hill. This looks pretty decent. Going from SLC clones to this is a major step. If they continue at this phase I wonder where they...

    "Now Showing"

Same here. Could almost hear the evil laugh and feel the heat of the fire. At the same time I was wishing that I was at PHL instead of in a movie theatre watching a stupid movie. Liked the first one, disliked this one.

Rank the Star Wars Movies (so far).

Also forgot to rank the Star Wars films. I used to be a huge Star Wars fan, was into lots of Star Wars legends and the books. Especially loved the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn. Since then I have mostly moved on to being a Trekkie (betrayed Star Wars, sorry). But I still watch all Star Wars...

Rank the Star Wars Movies (so far).

Indeed it was. Truly incredible. Great to finally see a great Star Wars series since the disappointments of Kenobi and Book of Boba Fett. We haven't really gotten good Star Wars since the Mandalore arc in Clone Wars season 7.

Are there any "old hat" coaster elements that you're sad to see going out of fashion?

I am a huge sucker for of B&M floorless coasters and some later B&M stand-ups. I really love those huge classic elements. Nowadays you never see such a brilliant layout as Meduza or Scream! anymore. A huge 128 foot tall vertical loop, a 96 foot tall dive loop, a zero-g roll, and a 78 foot tall...

    Best Defunct manufacturer?

For me the Arrow or Schwarzkopf question comes down to consistency. Arrow has some brilliant coasters; X2, Canyon Blaster, Viper, etc, but they also have loads of absolute rubbish. While no Schwarzkopf is equally good as the greatest Arrows, neither is anything as bad as the bad Arrows...

Six Flags Qiddiya | Saudi Arabia | Theme Park

I think this just highlights a general issue with Saudi Arabia's massive expansion. They really don't seem to have a plan with it all, other than just having something bigger than someone else (mainly Dubai). Just took a look at their world's largest airport announcement. They want to build an...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

A water fountain, more statues, light package, a new bench in front of it, etc. There are loads they can do.

Vekoma Tilt Coaster coming to Energylandia in 202?

WOW! That looks to be an actually brilliant coaster, not just a tilt gimmick. Gives me lech vibes.

What should Gröna Lund's next major coaster be?

If I would guess something, I would say Vekoma Super Boomerang. The train treverses the track twice, thereby giving more ride with less track. I'm sure Vekema could create a brilliant custom layout to fit into the plot.

What should Gröna Lund's next major coaster be?

I also hink it will be a launch, or a vertical lift. Though Gröna Lund are well known for using the space optimally so even a large lift hill will not be a waste of space. Gröna lund will just integrate it into shops or other things. We need to keep in mind that the entire expansion plot is...

Six Flags Fiesta Texas | Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster | Racing P'Sghetti Bowl Coaster | 2023

Hahahaha I don't know what potions they are using but somehow SFFT gets every Six Flags investment.

In your view, what is wrong with British public transport and what would you do to solve the problems?

To expand on what I previously wrote. While not being as flashy as long distance rail, local transit such as busses and commuter trains are so incredibly important for the community. Imagine a low income neighbourhood with high unemployment. If this neighbourhood would get good quality transit...

In your view, what is wrong with British public transport and what would you do to solve the problems?

A topic I absolutely love to talk about. First of all busses. The UK bus system is weird to say the least. A bunch of private operators which in some cases are fairly regulated, while in other cases run in some kind of free-for-all. Busses are the backbone of public transport and needs to be...

Vekoma Tilt Coaster coming to Energylandia in 202?

It wont fit. The plot is about 110 m long and the Cliffhanger model is 140 m long. The Pittfall model works with the length but is too wide for the plot. Neither of these coasters would fit at Gröna Lund. Although, we could see a custom tilt coaster. I also highly doubt Gröna Lund will use the...

Breaking: Bob Chapek out, Bob Iger back in as Disney CEO

With enough money you can even get somebody who is adamant of being retired to come back. Great idea to bring him back. Better than getting a new temporary CEO who anyways will be switched out. Chapek had been on borrowed time. Although this will also challenge Iger. He made one of the biggest...
