Untame My Heart | Trip Reports

We just got home from our epic 30 minute flight. Thanks to all for being so welcoming for our first CF Live! We had a great time and it was awesome to meet so many of you, hopefully we'll see you at a park sometime soon. Walibi Holland was a lot more fun than our visit earlier in the year and...

Can roughness ever improve a ride?

Maybe, Furious Baco would be terrible without it, now it's just unrerideable, but I kind of love it. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Untame My Heart | WALIBI HOLLAND and BOBBEJAANLAND | 7th-8th Sep 2019

Thanks for the ticket links, we'll get ours now. Not 100% sure we'll get there for 9:30 - I think it's about an hour to drive from Schippol and our flight gets in at 8 and @Coop gets in at 8.15 so it depends how long it takes us to get through customs and pick up a car. We'll try our best!

    Favourite coaster drop?

Twisted Colossus has something about it where it feels slightly too steep and I always seem to end up feeling like I'm standing in my seat as we go over. Can't wait to get back there in October. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

    Is inverted air time possible?

The diagram was just to show the shape I meant, I made it bigger just to make it easier to see. So why couldn't you do that but with a small bump in the upside down section to get to -0.5g to -1g? It seems like it'd be a super weird sensation to have a little hop when you're already upside down.

    Is inverted air time possible?

So on Zadra there's that beautiful hangtime element under the lift hill, what happens if they put an air-time hill style piece of track on the upside down bit? Would you get ejector hangtime? Has it been done? Edit: Added Planet Coaster pictures to show what I mean:

    Top 10 Theme/Amusement Parks

    1. Six Flags Magic Mountain -The coaster lineup is superb, some of the views are incredible and the food is even ok for a Six Flags park! 2. Disney's Californian Adventure - In my mind this has some of the best theming of any parks ever, especially the area around the rapids, It has some really...

SeaWorld Orlando | Pipeline: The Surf Coaster | B&M Surf Coaster | 2023

Was talking yesterday about coaster types no one has tried yet, so far all I could come up with was a hybrid invert (wooden supports with a steel track, would be exciting to go through the structure) or some kind of Star tours style vehicle but on a coaster style track. Maybe half way through...

    Top 10(ish): 2024 Edition - page 124

Not sure, I'm pretty big (6'3 and 16 stone) and Steel Vengeance was really uncomfortable, mostly on my shins, but the hypers are great, just enough support to convince me I won't fall out. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Europa Park | Voltron | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | 2024

Maybe they just aren't worth it. If they're expensive, but parks aren't willing to pay more when they could get a Gerst Infinity or Mack Mega or Intamin Blitz, perhaps it's just a failed experiment. Still glad we got Lost Gravity!

Really, why is that out of curiosity? I can't remember Taron as well (back there in August, woop) but I can't see what a problem with B&M ones are, they're so comfy! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

    Top 10(ish): 2024 Edition - page 124

When will everyone just adapt the restraints that are on Mack Megas/B&M hypers/Taron - clearly you can be held in by your thighs without needing anything over your shins or shoulders, and it's so much comfier for tall people. I think half of the reason Helix and Taron are right at the top of my...

Walibi Holland | Untamed | RMC Robin Hood Conversion

Can't wait to get on this at the Coasterforce Live in September, when I saw the construction I wasn't too impressed (but we were having a crappy day), but all these reviews make it sound awesome!

That's a really interesting list, makes me want to go ride Taiga for sure. We really didn't like Hulk but only went on it once and were in a bad mood that day anyway. Going back this summer for Hagrid so I need to give it another go. Any recommendations on seats? We were middle/back last time...

Cedar Point- From the perspective of a british pleb

Hotel Breakers is good for the location but we didn't think it was nice enough for how expensive it is. It's really pretty basic inside and the restaurants aren't great. You can probably save a lot of money staying at the hotels nearby. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

I think any new projects will be slow but I can imagine next year we might see operating changes like more staff, longer hours and more trains being run. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Netherlands & Germany mini road trip

We stayed at that gr8 hotel in Sevenum, it's simply amazing for the price. And the restaurant next door, la place, was great too. Thankfully there's one at the airport so we can show you all how good it is at the coaster force live in September. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
