Last year certainly made me appreciate what the UK has to offer a lot more than I had done previously. Before there was definitely a focus of getting abroad at every given opportunity but last year I finally managed to mop up a load of UK bucket list things that I'd been meaning to do for years...
My only really tiny, nitpicking issue was that two of the rides aren't 80s rides. The super trooper paratrooper is almost brand new model that came out in the last year or so and the smashing jump is relatively new to the scene as well. The waltzer is a British classic so that's a nice choice to...
Ah yes, West Midland Safari Park. Nice report MouseAT!
I had been before but only had one of the credits so was pleased to finally mop up the rest. The park is safari themed, including the rides and restaurants so it's more immersive than some animal attractions and feels very theme park-esque...
Glad I could help! 😂
I think the Buffalo Bills log flume closed with Desperado, and has has a similarly sporadic operating schedule since then. Hopefully it is still running or will do so in the future. It looks really quirky!
I know the Luxor casino hotel in Vegas had a water ride going...
Lake Winnepesaukah's super rare Eyerly Fly-o-Plane is for sale. The wild mouse is also for sale amongst some other rides from the park too.

It appears I haven't done this in a while. I have now done Hyperion, Colossos and The Voyage, hooray! 🎉 Should have also done X2 by now but I guess we can't have it all.
So here's the new list with new additions in bold:
Monster (Grona)
Kondaa
Velocicoaster
Taiga
Flying Aces
T Express
X2...
I have been seeking these kinds of things out more and more as there's a lot that the coaster community misses out in terms of other rides that are out there if you're also interesting in flat rides or dark rides etc. That rainforest cafe ride looks really good. Was not expecting it to have...
The park have (presumably) responded by detailing their plan.
It sounds pretty good to be honest. There were a lot of boarded up buildings in the midway section that leads down to the lake when I visited and the park is definitely in need of a decent amount of work. It is not clear whether...
This development is definitely going to divide opinion based on whether you like fair rides or not. I know a chunk of theme park enthusiasts find them tacky and don't go to fairs so they're bound to hate this.
Of course in general we've moved on from big theme parks plonking fair rides around...
Had a look around for more clues to the source of this rumour and found this which has just gone up.
General consensus is a twister, waltzer, dodgems, something that hops (sounds like a jump and smile kind of thing which are popular at fairs) and maybe some other things.
Found a photo.
I...
Another bit of news I've seen floating around is Alton Towers potentially bringing in some travelling flat rides to boost their offering. Heide Park brought in a travelling ghost train last season so it isn't completely unreasonable. Perhaps this is to compensate for the period when indoor rides...
