I can't really say I've had a worst spite because everything I've wanted to ride has always been open, with the exception of Desert Race at Heide Park when I went there in 2019. But tbh, I had forgotten the coaster was even there until I walked past it so.
Good. I've ridden Zamperla's current tallest drop tower model (Z-Max) and while the views are nice, all it really offers is motion sickness due to the weirdly smooth bouncing it does like a fast elevator. You don't feel the claimed g-forces at all.
I would probably not trust Premier with building anything besides a sitdown with an LSM launch. And besides, the layout looks pretty eh, just like an inverted version of a Vekoma family boomerang, whereas SFCs are actually pretty fun.
Can they please put some shade in while they're at it? Lmao jk, it seems like a good update. But for real the park is in serious need of some basic upkeep and shade, as the park is 90% cracking asphalt and on +30c days with the sun blazing there's nowhere to hide.
Being a baby/toddler in the early 00's and getting scared by the demon face with glowing eyes that they for some reason have on the old kiddie carousel at my home park of Linnanmäki.
As I've developed from a hardcore fanatic to a more chilled enthusiast:
- Parks with no atmosphere; all rides on a flat field, no music, no history, no charm or well done landscaping/theming; Energylandia or most of the Six Flags and Cedar Fair chains come to mind. Good rides aren't enough if I...
Ngl don't really see the point of this park when there's nothing to look at in that flat mix of concrete and swampland, besides the slingshot these rides are view oriented yet there's nothing
This is much smaller scale because I don't actively really think about parks abroad and their acquisitions, but a couple years back my local park Linnanmäki got a Heavy Rotation flat ride from Technical Park, which was really weird. A decently obscure flat ride of which only a couple have been...
Six Flags referring to Raptors as "single rail coasters" despite the trains obviously riding two separate rails that are just connected to a solid box track. Nevermind calling Golden Lasso whatever the first single rail coaster when Caripro (and maybe someone else) had made actual single rail...
That looks to be the "mini" dive coaster track that they use on the newer European 6-seat per row dive coasters, so I'm going to assume the reason for the 7-seat rows is that was the widest train that the smaller track could support and six flags wanted to squeeze that one seat per row more...
I don't really regret becoming an enthusiast, of course some people made fun of me when I was younger but that happens to anyone with any kind of interest. However I have made the conscious effort to become less of an enthusiast because of one big con I've noticed among enthusiasts.
It seems to...
Finally went to Power Park (Power Land if we're being specific, stupid naming scheme) this passed week and let me just:
Pitt's Special is definitely up there among the list of most pointless coasters (or park acquisitions in general) in the history of ever. Let me go to the positives for a bit...
I've been nervous to ask this because I feel like I've just missed something in the earlier pages but what is up with the name of this ride?? The ride to happiness? Like what's that about
By my understanding around 4 million € each season (probably not 2020 for obvious reasons) goes to national charities for children and the rest of the profit goes directly to improving the park which is seen in yearly large scale upgrades and almost yealry ride openings, in comparison to very...
Didn't see this posted yet so sorry if it was but shockingly enough it seems Marineland is actually opening a new ride???
Seems to be a lowered capacity Zierer Star Shape
There's been a random Zamperla Super Spin for around half a decade if memory servers correct on an island right off a northern coastal city called Oulu in Finland called Noitarumpu (Sámi shaman drum), which you can ride during a couple summer months for 6€.
I'm not sure if it's still there...
