This is very sad news and my thoughts go out to his family. It's a great shame to see the loss of a Disney true legend.

Apparently Cobra and The Edge have been granted retrospective planning permission. It's good news as they aren't going anywhere! :--D

I also forgot to mention: "The structure is steel and is proposed to be finished in a dark purple colour (PANTONE 274C). The stanchions are proposed to be finished in a gold colour (RAL 1001)"

As the title suggests. Alton Towers have submitted a planning application to the council applying to display the Corkscrews at the main entrance to the park, outside the admissions kiosks. It does look nice however, I think it may be better suited somewhere else such as theming for Thirteen or...

It doesn't actually say you wont get to ride it, all it says is that they cannot guarantee a ride on it. So, fingers crossed, people might get to ride it then :--D

And so... The press release returns to the website and Alton Towers' press website: The theming on this looks to be spectacular... I hope it all pulls off!

Just beware... Alton Towers have contacted TowersTimes in the last 30 minutes or so and asked them to remove it. It either means it's a load of crap or it is very accurate and they are near to releasing a press report. Could go either way...

He does state in the interview that the only part of Saw he worked on was the track layout itself. The theme and so on, he had absolutely nothing to do with. I think we can hopefully rule out Saw: Alive as one of the attractions. I would prefer the attraction nearer to home, at Thorpe. :--D

My guess would definately be that it is for Thorpe Park as their next major coaster, but it could be any of the other parks to be honest...

You can see how many supports there are on the first helix after the drop; it's going to be quite intense. I never expected Alton Towers to release this much information today, I really don't. It has really got me excited to ride this in March! :--D

Those photos are part of the new christmas area for the winter break. This area is near Old MacDonald's Farmyard and will contain log 5 log cabins for various christmas uses including Santa's Grotto.
