    Thorpe 19+20/3/2012

Anyone during theses days will have noticed a random neanderthal with missus in tow wearing a variety of hideously brutal death metal T-Shirts. That was me! I'm not hard to spot at thorpe to be honest! On with the trip report then. Less chavvy than normal on both days, which was nice. They seem...

    Oblivion The definative stats?

Both have been sent, and now i'm refreshing my mail every 10 seconds! I'll litterally do a copy and paste from my mails if they can be bothered with me! Its maybe a bit much to expect a reply this soon on a sunday (or on a sunday at all), but they say persistance pays! ;)

I can't help thinking our ranking page was better and gave a much better overall opinion.

Best & Worst SLC you've been on?

I've got to be honest they're all as good and as bad as each other depending on your mood on that particular day. The only thoughts i've got on infusion are it didn't travel well from southport, JO is suspect to weather conditions in a chronic manner and kumali is uninspired and generic...

    Oblivion The definative stats?

Its worse than that! I'm an extreme metalhead! That said, no matter what genre of music you're into there's no escaping the D-O double jizzle! RATS! Alton towers Fanta advertising banners for one, as well Wiki's desciptive text. I'm unceratin as well why RCDB have got it as 87degree's. Who...

Having just been listening to the shirehorses and the macc lads i have come to the conclusion that lyrics are of use. Mainly to crack jokes in! :D

    Oblivion The definative stats?

Nope, its about 65' above ground! Garghhhhhh! Its doin me brain in. My thought was the 150' may just be the 88.8 dgree section without adding the drop curve and the bottom curve. Seems the most logical, but someone must know for sure.

    Oblivion The definative stats?

After todays Excursion to AT it occured to the missus that it was being advertised that it was a 150' drop. After some scouring it seems there's some variation and uncertainty of what are its actual stats. I always thought that it was 88.8 degree's with 180' drop. However, depending where you...

    Brand Advertisements on Ride

I think all topspin rides should be sponsored by moulinex blenders! That said considering the X-Sector is meant to be a hush hush government testing facility i think Fants is a P*** poor sponsor for Oblivion! Fanta..... The drink or death, or not? It should have been sponsored by mates condoms...

    Hacking for consumer rights.

Not sure if i support this approach with companies as its the end user that suffers, the guys that they are allegedly helping us are making us feel threatened. However I am at the end of the day the end user who has paid for the privelidge of using their machine and so if i decide i wish to use...

    Lyrics

As a part time musician lyrics rarely mean anything to me. I will admit to writing a few in my time but i'm not fabulous at it. I think the musical content is far more important than the gibbering taking place over the top! Without a strongly composed song the whole thing is crap and...

And following another Metal Post: Best Thrash realease for er....... a long time? Onslaught - Sound Of Violence. Possibly taking brutal thrash to a whole new level!! I'd just like to point out that Celtic Frost also dabbled with Thrash in their earlier days. For likers of Celtic Frost why not...
