No, I don't know what you mean by the finger smasher. I do love the new Vekoma trains though; they're REALLY nice looking, some of my favorite trains actually.

Was it very recent? Because it was rough as **** last time I rode it.

I wouldn't think Canobie is too well known to people...outside Massachusetts? New England? I don't really know. But it definitely doesn't have that high a level of recognition as far as I know, and despite not having a ton of "thrill" rides, it's still really fun. Beautiful park, decent food...

What alternate universe did you ride the Cyclone at SFNE in where it was smooth?

Canobie Lake Park? Hell yeah I'm proud of that. Six Flags New England on the other hand, next closest thing to a home park for me, and I'd nuke it if it wasn't for Superman, really...

Everest of course, is the smoothest one I've been on, being a relatively modern Disney Vekoma, but Carolina Cobra was also great thanks to the vest restraints, and Nighthawk was pretty enjoyable as well. Definitely shuffled a bit in the front, but it wasn't too painful.

Dorney Park, ugh. All the rides besides Talon are crap, it's tiny, looks the same as every other damn Cedar Fair park, and Hydra was such a damn letdown. The park really is the red-headed step child of Cedar Fair. And while I didn't experience it I've heard so many reports of sketchy people...

Slightly, but you don't really hear about too many plane crashes OR coaster accidents. I guess planes have a bit more potential to burst into flames. :wink:
