Actually managed to get on this when I was back in Colorado recently and pretty pleased to say it was definitely one of the best drop rides I've been on. Probably the first time since Dodonpa a ride has actually scared me a bit haha
"Riders will experience head-to-head flybys at combined speeds of 70 miles-per-hour"
They may as well start marketing American Eagle as the fastest coaster in the North America with a combined speed of 132 miles per hour.
Surprised there isn't more love for beyond verticals...Cannibal, Takabisha, and Maverick definitely take it for me (the former two being rides that still actually scare me). Being slowly let down/or launched into such bizzare ejector airtime is such an exhilarating feeling.
Yeah in that construction tour video he states that the first element is two inversions, the overbank is definitely extremely close though. It's also pretty interesting to note that the lift hill will actually be next to Xcelerator, I guess it just doesn't appear in the background of the...
Well it appears nobody else covered it...but looks like we have indeed have a Gesterlauer Infinity coaster for Knotts!
Taken from the park's website-
"Knott’s Berry Farm will welcome HangTime, a brand new steel rollercoaster - and the only dive coaster on the West Coast - to the theme park...
Well nobody covered it...but looks like we indeed have a Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster for Knott's. Taken from the parks website-

Haven't seen anything...but here is the official announcement schedule for everything tomorrow if anyone is interested-
KINGS DOMINION - Announcing at 11AM Eastern Time
CEDAR POINT - Announcing at "High Noon" Eastern
SILVER DOLLAR CITY - Announcing at Noon Eastern
CALIFORNIA'S GREAT AMERICA -...
I would not be surprised if Six Flags drops a raptor track in half of their parks by 2020 with WWs cloned layout. It will be extremely disappointing if Cedar Fair follows suit. I hope somebody books a full scale T-rex sooner rather than later, or if anything some smaller parks will pick up a...
From Screamscape it appears CGA's new coaster will be a mirror image of Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster...
Quoted text from an update yesterday.
"Screamscape sources have confirmed that Railblazer will indeed be a mirror image clone of the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster, but with only two...
Just a minor update that I don't think has been covered yet...third inversion has been officially installed. Questioning as to whether they will cap it at three or add a fourth, I'm predicting some sort of barrel roll right before the final brake run. It's insane to think we will be finally...
Well technically it is Eejanaika at 249 feet...Dinoconda is 2nd at 226 feet so this would be third. However it would precisely tie with Parrot Coaster for the length record at 4192.9 feet. Seems a bit questionable that it is listed as the exact same length.
Anyone else think the rcdb listed stats are legitimate??
Height: 196.8 ft
Speed: 73.3 mph
Seems quite massive for a B&M wing coaster, but then again I've always thought the wings would make for a fantastic (near) hypercoaster. The first element is also listed as a dive drop so we may be looking...
