It's a good thing you added that wink :D. You'll find MF among the top coasters in many experienced people's lineups. You can also find many experienced people who don't care for it that much. Of course, we'll probably never resolve differences in taste, pretty much by definition. But...

^ Good call, although the one that comes to mind is King's Island, and they close Beast during the show. I wouldn't worry about the fire effects on Terminator. They go straight up in an open area and never really get close to anything wooden.

I couldn't come up with any in particular, but then CF's banner reminded me... Goliath at Walibi World. It looks really excellent, and has been pretty highly rated. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a fun ride, but I had rather high expectations for it that just weren't met.

This seems like it boils down to the argument of whether everything is relative or there are some absolutes. Then again, that could certainly be exciting... Given that you can't take back a ranking, you pretty much have to rate things relatively. You can't have a worse ride ranking higher...

I disagree. I much prefer boomerangs in the back. This is really tough. I want to say Furius Baco so badly, I really do. But MF is my favorite, and front is my favorite seat for it as well. On both rides, being in front adds a lot.

I think it's as simple as Shapiro not thinking full new rides are worth the money and that he can get away with refreshing old ones. And to some degree, he's got it. From my perspective, if they remove this, it's really going to cut down on my desire to go back to the park. The other rides are decent (well, except for Apollo's), but not really noteworthy. BBW stands out in my head as the reason to go to BGE; it's certainly the one I'd most look forward to...

Park aside, how's the ride? It's getting harder to find classic Schwarzkopfs these days, and this was a pretty impressive one.

Actually, we agreed on that at the beginning. Come to think of it, I think the final result was that I prefer theming over path interaction, whereas you were the reverse.
