Plohn's planned coaster looks extremely impressive. We know now that the Mancey's like their unique 'UK first' attractions. So with that said, it's highly plausible that we would see the first UK water coaster/launched water coaster at Paulton's. This looks to be the most thrilling area in the...
Gerstlauer aren't a terrible manufacturer as people like to think they are. Their family coasters are some of the best in the market. Their Infinity Coasters (with lap bars) are very very decent rides also. The problem people have is with the specific choice of product the park opted for from...
Those are likely trolls rather than Vikings specifically. There is a lot of deep mythology in Nordic culture. Vikings, like ancient Greeks, have their mythos.
They want to improve on themselves with every new themed area/attraction. They said at the last Super Fans Day that there may be a lot more details included in the final product that haven't been drawn up in the concept art.
I can't speak for lap bar Eurofighters but lap bar Infinity Coasters are extremely fun. Fury at Bobbejaanland is nice and whippy but also very hangtime heavy.
Just to quickly dissect some of the finer details... I think we could be looking at the best themed land in the UK.
It's a pretty decent layout. Packs in some nice elements.. but sadly they are wasted on the OTSR's. One would hope that they are switched out with lap bars in a couple of seasons.
It's really their Infinity Coasters that are largely smoother/pothole free. Granted there are *slightly* smoother Eurofighters like Rage out there. But the majority all appear to have kinks in the track and rough-riding trains. Very desperate for the park to prove us wrong with this one as the...
I've given myself a day to think this through before posting.
Firstly - Ghostly Manor is the bees knees for what it is. A pacey and elaborate wee dark ride. It balances whimsy with spooks, practical sets with gameplay and projections. I thought it was absolutely class for a first ever dark ride...
Pretty convinced about Paddington too, with the marlamade and street that looks an awful lot like Windsor Gardens.
I don't care much for Minions but it's easy to see why they've opted for it. Massive cash cow.
The sizeable showbulding for Jurassic has me convinced we're getting the Beijing...
Efteling have some of the best theme park music out there. It's all up there with Disney's ride soundtracks. Danse Macabre's music is no exception to their longstanding tradition of being among the best.
I think it's boring beyond belief, but that's just me. Having said that, I don't think the ride system should be replaced by a coaster. Would very much prefer a retheme that retains the current boat ride.
