X at Thorpe park - "no singles" rule

Hi,

Does anyone know when Thorpe introduced the "no singles in any row" rule on X? and any ideas why?

This is interesting. I've not been to Thorpe since 2014, but I'd like to know about this no singles rules.

I fit in the seat on my lonesome comfortably, but can't sit with others because legs. I guess I could sit with a small child, but that'd be weird.

I think it was last year. No idea why. Probably some over the top Health & Safety/insurance condition/bulllsh!t.
