WTF is "Shark Island" at WMSP?

A mailer came through the post today and it boasts about the "new ride, Shark Island" at West Midlands Safari Park.

I've googled and have an inkling that it's a splash battle which apparently opened last year...? I tried calling but soon get fed up with the "press blah blah for this and our opening times are blah blah". I CBA to email so I'll ask on here instead.

I think it's not quite a splash battle as such. It's a kind of water roundabout with guns or something. A bit like Grandpa Pig's Boat Ride at PPW only with guns... Or that's what I heard, could be something completely different :lol:

This is Shark Island at Ocean Beach, I'd imagine it probably to be a variant of this.
