Worst stock model coaster type.

BBH

Giga Poster
While there may be many coaster types that have stock models and are notorious for being similar, not many of them are necessarily "bad" rides. However, some of them are absolutely horrid and deserve to be buried in a fiery pit of burning doom. What "mass-produced" coaster model is the worst of the worst?

Contributing to my own topic, spinning wild mice are vile. As well as mice in general.

I actually enjoyed the Mack Wild Mouse that BGW had, even at its new home in BGT when I went in 2006. Dark Knight also isn't that bad once you get past the overhype and Hersheypark's Wild Mouse is borderline insane with 4 people in the car! Worst Wild Mouses would probably have to be Dorney's and Animal Kingdom's, both were rather meh especially for my love of wild mice.

Other cloned rides that I've been on multiple of... hmm. I guess the only one that qualifies for now are the Intamin Inverted Shuttles, never really understood what was so great about them since there was only one full speed pass on both Wicked Twister and Possessed (oh my god one extra twisting tower isn't that huge of a difference!) and really the only cool part was the rolls when you sat in the back or the front, which was really meh'd out when you only have one full extention to the top of the tower.

Funny you mentioned the Impulse coasters, those are actually my favorite Intamin model.

Easy. Zamperla or Reverchon spinning mouse coasters. The harsh hairpin turns are bad enough but to add spin is taking vileness that one step further.

One of the worst rollercoasters I have ever been on was Infusion at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It wasn't just rough, but it was just completely painful from beginning to end. If all Vekoma custom looping coasters are like that...they are not good.

^ most of SLCs are like that. I've only ridden Blue Tornado and it is 2nd on my Bottom list. Just ****, I wonder why the parks buy these

It **** stinks too. Beat the **** out of my head last week, not a fan. I liked Kumali though.

The Zamperla Gravity Coaster 80STD.

It's an unimaginative, painfully vile piece of crap of a coaster model.

Are they? Can you tell us about all of them since you've ridden them all?

I've only ridden Blue Tornado

Oh.

Some SLCs are rough, yes. That doesn't, in my opinion, necessarily make them a "bad" model type. The layouts are actually very good.

Apart from Big Apples and other kiddy rides, Reverchon spinning mice are the worst for me. They're just really boring and uninspired. If you don't get a decent spin, they're rubbish. If you get a decent spin, they're nauseating. I actually prefer a basic Wild Mouse.

^ most of them are SAID to be like that. And I (after riding one of them) agree with people who say that

What Gavin is saying is that how can you agree if you've only been on one? How can you make a judgement based on assumption? You can't, and it's one of the worst traits of coaster enthusiasts.

I cant say much on the SLCs as Ive only ridden Serial Thriller (Thunderhawk) and outside of ONE incident, quite enjoyed it.

Boomerangs are one that spring to mind >_< Havent tried the Inverted model, nor a GIB, but the typical sit-down ones are borderline atrocious. Hersheys was a bit better due to the newer restraint.

Oh, Wild Mouses are an iffy one for me. Only done two standard Macks (Hershey and SFGAdv) and two Reverchon spinners (Kennywoods and I believe IXs is a Reverchon as well). The Mack ones were mixed imo. I really enjoyed Hersheys, but smashed my head on Dark Knight. I wouldnt say vile, but Im not readilly eager to get on another one.

As for the Reverchon. Kennywoods used to be fab, but now it squeels and hurts to spin. The IXs was the same way.

OH! Only been on one, but the (what I'm assuming to be) Pinifari Looping Star (the travelling one...if that is the proper manufacturer) is god awful. Rode it at my local fair and that was the last we saw of travelling coasters there lol.

Vekoma Boomerangs and Invertigos are not too bad (I mean, you don't ride any of these with high expectations  ), and Reverchon Spinning Mouses are fun enough.

I would lean to Mack Wild Mouses. The frequent block braking can be death to your waist. All together, I'd take another clone/"stock model" coaster.
