This park has kind of snuck up on me. I knew it was happening but didnt know it was so far along.
The latest in the chain of Wonderla parks in India is due to open on April 18th and features an few small coasters and a boomerang.

While the its not official who built the boomerang one of the Wonderla posted the hashtag #Dutchsteel with a video here.

However the way of connecting track really doesn't look Vekoma to me.

Whats going on here with the rails?

Painting track on site seems very Chinese knock off too.

However Wonderla did buy a proper second hand Vekoma Boomerang in Bangalore.

Currently a bit of a mystery.

I'm highly confused by the gaps in the rails?!
I can only assume they've done it to reduce the accuracy required during manufacturing. You could make sure the spines all align, and then just weld in the final pieces of rail, rather than needing to align all three from the outset.

It's a long shot mind. I mean, I've never seen it before so it can't be that hard...

Surely that's just developing more potential for a rougher experience with more track segment transitions?!

Update: This is in fact Zoomerang from Visionland in the USA. Which was originally thought to have gone to the Wonderla park in Bangalore that Gavin visited last year.
The Bangalore one is in fact another second hand one from Aladdin's Kingdom in Qatar that used to be called Thunderbolt.

I'm assuming the rail gaps are something to do with the deconstruction process but its still really odd.
