Very impressive looking! I can imagine I would actually be pretty nervous about riding this, considering I feel a little insecure on the ones that only go 50 feet high.

I rode Windseeker opening night. The ride was overhyped and lame. The feeling of the wind was fun but otherwise the height didnt feel like anything and the spinning was lame. Waste of time

Don't listen to Hal, he's delusional.

I really enjoyed WindSeeker. the seating and restraints are MUCH more open than I was expecting, giving a real free flying experience. I was honestly pretty terrified by the height (and knowledge that only a couple inches of aluminum was holding me in), but it was a very fun ride once it had started spinning at the top.

The wind especially was really knocking the chairs around, to the point that they would nearly hit each other at times. This was the reason for additional pistons being added to all of the rides which has caused the delayed opening.

My only "beef" with the ride is capacity. Loading and unloading are able to move pretty quickly as restraints are new intamin style with over-the-head lapbars, but the ride cycle is rather long. I waited an hour for when noone knew the ride was running, so the lines will probably hit longer lengths than majority of the roller coasters in the park.

This ride isn't as much "thrilling" as it is about the experience. I wouldn't say the ride is tranquil, but it is definitely mystifying. I give it a thumbs up, and think Cedar Point landed a great addition to the park.

And let's hear it for Ocean Motion getting new real estate!

I hope Cedar Point's is more reliable than Wonderland's, which seems to do about six cycles a day with riders on it :P .

It's a beautiful ride, I'll give it that.

yea i the wonderland one has a huge wait time and seems to be broken more than actually running...at least on the day i was there (N) to me it won't top tower rides like tower of terror...its just a pretty view

^ Windseeker and Tower of Terror are two completely different experiences, so you can't really compare them. I'm shocked at how tiny the queue area is for the ride, holding maybe 150 people at the most, however when I was there it didn't really overflow the cattlepens. That's probably because it closed every five minutes, though.

Looks real purty.

Looks dull as all **** as a ride.

And thus concludes another in-depth analysis.

^ World class insight, as always.

Indeed. As it was with maXair, CP was trying to fit a large thrill ride into a small footprint, which I think was the draw of the tower ride in general; being very free and minimal. I believe KI's WindSeeker also has a small queue area.

So, rather than waiting in a cattlepen, you wait on some nice brick work and concrete.

^ It's alright at least at Wonderland because there are no other rides in the area, it's just a pathway with a few benches so it's not like there's a load of people traffic. Not sure where it's located at Kings Island though.

it looks absolutely fabulous! while i probably wouldnt bother riding it, as it doesnt excite me that much i think this is a good add for the park and the gp will definetly like it alot.
