I have been on a few CCI woodie's and for me Tonnerre de Zeus wins by a long shot for its just completely crazy experience without being rough. I have also ridden Boulderdash but i was only able to ride it once so i did'nt ride it enough to make an accurate evaluation so i would love to ride it again sometime soon. I have also ridden megaphobia a few weeks ago and thought it was rough but still fun and stampida which i did not really like because i thought it was too rough to be enjoyable. Please vote on the poll above to tell me your favourite CCI Woodie and let me know why? Choose up to 3 if you want.

Boulder Dash and Cornball Express are light years above the rest. LCoSM is quite unique and awesome in it's own way but as a traditional coaster its meh.

In fact, Villain is my most despised coaster of all time. CCI.. how you vary so.

Hey! So im not alone!
That was the only wooden coaster I've personally found "too rough" to enjoy and was honestly a little scared when riding it. Not in a good way though.

Sadly can't vote because I've only been on the Great White, which was a surprisingly fun ride and Villian, which yeah...didn't so much care for.

They have made some gems though, and led to both GCI and Gravity Group so I consider CCI the wooden gods.

1. Boulder Dash

Somewhere else, all the others I've been on (Megafobia  ).

In the gutter, Stampida (but still above Furius Baco :p ).

Seriously, Megafobia was my number 1 coaster for along time and even now I think it's still one of my favourite coasters. It's just nothing compared to Boulder Dash when I rode it though.

I'd probably rank the ones I've been on like this:

1. Boulder Dash- Not as good as I thought it would be, but still the most solid coaster of the bunch
2. Cornball Express- Really good airtime and a fun ride at a fab park
3. Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain- Okay, it's probably the most stupid coaster ever, but it was hilarious and unique
4. Shivering Timbers- ON A GOOD DAY ONLY, it can be absolute crap or absolute amazeballs
5. Raven- It's decent but I have no idea why it use to be regarded so highly
6. Legend- I basically rank it par with Raven.. I had one really good ride and one really bad one, but it has a good layout despite a bit of roughness
7. Boss- Unique coaster and I always had a good time riding it, especially the first time when the little drop after the drop scared the crap out of me
8. Silver Comet- Average
9. Hoosier Hurricane- Meh
10. Villain- Painful and my cousin's boob popped out of her shirt on it, which was donotwant
11. Zach's Zoomer- Fun, but it's like, for kids

I haven't ridden Tonnerre De Zeus yet & I'm sure it will be way up there when I do.
In the mean time I've got to go with Boulder Dash, Cornball & Cyclops - three of the best & most fun airtime machines I've ever ridden. Still haven't made up my mind on which seat is best for Boulder Dash, but front for Cornballer & the 18 & over seats for Cyclops are just insane.
I totally agree with Snoo in that "LCoSM is quite unique and awesome in it's own way" & it will always be near the top of my list. Megaphobia is also way up there, but I also have some near the top that others won't necessarily agree with: Boss, Legend, Great White & Silver Comet.
And Zach's Zoomer is better than Shivering Timbers. :p

CCI confuses me. I agree with Snoo, they vary a lot.

I'm not going to rank them, but I'll say something about each one I've done...

Great White - The location (on the beach) is cool, but it's pretty meh. I forgot it even existed to be honest.

Megafobia - Fun, but VERY over rated. I guess it's in a small park so stands out more, and the fact that the other (few) woodies in the UK are pretty awful makes it look a lot better than it actually is.

Silver Comet - LOVE this. Really fast, loads of airtime and the right amount of roughness. Top 10? No, but it's fabulous anyway.

Stampida - Vile. I didn't ride it with the old trains, so can't comment on before, but as it stands it's painful and crud.

Tomahawk - I don't really get it... It's supposed to be a kids ride but is actually pretty fierce. The small trains are a bit spiteful...

Ghostrider - Has potential to be amazing (fast, airtime, ridiculously long layout which doesn't let up until the brakes) but it just hurts too god damn much. I actually thought my back was going to break. I wish I'd got to do it when it was new...

Boulder Dash - My fave. Don't really need to say why...

And Zach's Zoomer is better than Shivering Timbers.

Haha, you never rode Shivering Timbers when it was in its prime. I guarantee you'd think otherwise. Such a heartbreak that it sucks so bad now, unless we caught it on a bad day which is always possible.

Great White - Looks better than it rides, just kinda hurts.
Tonnerre De Zeus - Most overrated Woodie on the Planet. Dire.
Stampida - Didn't even bother with it last time. Says it all.
Tomahawk - Small but fab.
Ghost Rider - So much potential, so painful.
Silver Comet - Really fun and a great little ride.
Boulderdash - Second best woodie in the World and by far their best ride.
Gwazi - Vom.

I've never really thought about it, but, man, most CCIs suck ass.

I've only done the two at Holiday World along with Megaphobia and they all seemed average. None were really rough, but none of them provided great airtime either.

I'd take Legend above the others for the out and back layout and the speed it takes the last few turns.

I liked the drops and turns over water on Raven and Megaphobia but nothing else really stands out - apart from the brake run on Megaphobia looking like its going to collapse every time it stops a train.

You could also include Dinn Corp with this group, many of Dinn's former employees moved to CCI, which was founded by Charles Dinn's daughter. In fact, you could also include Kings Island's The Beast in the mix, as Charles Dinn was the lead engineer on that project, using many CCI staff.

I have ridden plenty of Dinn and CCI coasters, all of which are complete crap compared to GCI and Gravity Group - again alter groups formed by remnant CCI and Dinn Corp. members.

Only ridden 3, so here goes.

Raven: Had great potential, but was way too short

Legend: First ride was horrible, it got better after that. One of the better wooden rides I have ridden

GhostRider: Granted I haven't ridden it since 2008, but even then people complained about its roughness, and while it was significantly worse than it was a few years prior, it wasn't unbearable. Back in the day, this was absolutely amazing. Considering how much time I spent on this from 2001-2008, it holds a special place in my heart. That said, when I ride it again, I am preparing myself for the ultimate pain.

^ It's actually not that bad if you ask me, maybe even a bit better than last year.

As far as my list goes.

Ghostrider on a good day with the trims at the MCBR off - great airtime and lats in the second half

Tremors - one of the best first drops ever created, not for the airtime but into the tunnel through the gift shop, the rest of the ride is really solid as well with some significant lats and some good airtime

Timber Terror - just one of those rides that isn't really ever mentioned but is just a fun experience all around

Ghostrider on any day with the MCBR trims on - Still decent but little in the way of airtime but still some headchoppers and lats
