What is your favourite sequence of elements on a coaster?

For me the main ones that comes to mind are:

-The Norwegian Loop -> airtime hill -> Zero G Roll -> 360° twist on Helix at Liseberg

-The corkscrew into the helix into the Zero G Roll on Nemesis at Alton Towers

-The heartline roll into the twisted hill into the tunnel into the second launch into the immelmann on Icon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

What other awesome moments of that perfect flow of elements can you think of?

In no particular order:

• Steel Vengeance's First Half
• Skyrush's Figure 8 airtime hills
• Tatsu's back-to-back overbanked turns
• All of Phoenix's straightaway airtime hills
• Mystic Timber's Opening drop and second drop

And a new favorite: El Toro's drop and initial airtime hills. Holy yeet.

Velocicoaster...immalman into dive loop then Twisted speed hills

Twisted colossus...turn around on both sides

Tatsu...overback, step down, pretzel loop, in line twist, scenic turn

Ghostrider...second half

Silver bullet...corkscrew, wave turn, corkscrew helix

ArieForce One:

• Zero-G Stall
• Outerbank Hill
• Double Up
• Arcade Roll
• Off-axis airtime pop thing
• Fast, low turnaround into the last roll.

An incredibly paced series of forces that keep building intensity!


Honorable Mentions in any order:

• Voyage after the midcourse
• SteVe’s first half
• Afterburn from the loop to the batwing
• SteVe’s second half

A few come to mind:

• Voyage out run
• Voyage spaghetti bowl
• Voyage return run
• Voyage “victory lap”

A few that spring to mind:

Iron Gwazi - First outer-banked airtime hill > "death roll". The whole layout is amazing but these are definitely the standout moments.

Taron - 2nd launch > downwards S-bends > snappy turn into the overbank dive > twisted airtime hill. This whole segment just flows so well.

Nemesis - First corkscrew > helix > zero-G roll. Like above, this first segment flows incredibly well and is constantly gaining speed.

Shambhala - Inclined figure-8 element > speed hill. One of the coolest elements on this coaster followed by some great ejector.

F.L.Y - First corkscrew > off-axis airtime hill over the first launch > sharp upwards turn to the left. Another group of elements that flow together really well, and that upwards turn is one of the many intense moments on this coaster.
