Weird/Strange Moves By Parks

So I couldn't find a similar thread, but if there is I'm sorry :--D

Anyways, basically this topic is gonna be about weird moves made by parks.
I'm gonna start with Busch Gardens Williamsburg building their new coaster as it'll have horrible capacity in one of the biggest parks in the industry. I'm sure there are explanations though, but it still is an odd move.

What moves have made you wonder?
 
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom opening with two Mack water coasters.
 
Back-to-back B&M Hypers for Canada's Wonderland and Carowinds may be defendable - but really??

Just to be clear, this isn't meant to be a complaining topic, it's meant to be a discussion where people can share what they thought was a weird move by a park. It's for fun! Simple as that.

Yeah, because they already have so many of these damned dark rides. A coaster is exactly what they need, considering how gigantic the park is and only has 7 of them.

They had no demand for a dark ride, they don't work unless you are going to spend A LOT of money on them, Merlin will not spend the amount Universal do. Sub-Terra is looked over, Duel never has a queue, with the amount of money that is being spent on this dark ride we will not be getting anything spectacular.
Also I'm sure this is the opinions thread.

Because Frozen wasn't even a movie yet? Nor did anyone think it would gross over 1 billion dollars. Hell, the original plans didn't even include the coaster (it was gonna be fairy glen and just be a flat)


And to add to the topic - La Ronde / Six Flags adding an SLC to a park with on of the best Batman The Ride clones!

This!

They should have made it a completely different ride. The addition of transformers as a brand was obviously needed but the execution seems half arsed for someone as renowned as universal
 
Flamingo Land installing low throughput coasters/rides and not improving their operations making queues even more horrendous than ever.
 
How about Six Flags adding three Larson Fire Ball carnival rides to their parks for next year, and trying to qualify them as roller coasters?

Right then guys. I have found the single weirdest theme park there is... Love Land in South Korea. I think this is also the place that JJ23W has booked up to get those extra 18 creds for 2015.
