I have no doubt the studio tour has been posted about on here before but I just noticed that the site has a countdown until the tickets go on sale in just over a week. There are a few HP fans on here so I thought I would share for those who want to go etc.

I am quite pleased that they are running the site as a pre-booked ONLY attraction otherwise it would just be totally rammed. With a limit of 5000 people per day it should be comfortable enough to walk round and enjoy.

My only dissapointment is that it isn't going to be a full scale theme park/movie studio like Universal Hollywood which would be epic. Still, its a different experience from the IoA attraction and although it has no rides, I daresay it will be exciting enough anyways.

Very tempting, add to the list of expensive things a little too far away I'd love to do but don't have the time or money for

Indeed. This is going to be very different to IoA but they are trying to make another Harry Potter theme park here. This is basically the story of how they made the films.

In the future, if the studio really takes off and has lots of visitors they will consider doing things like Universal California, but I think that is a looooooong way off.

I just saw something about this on the TV this morning. Now, I haven't seen the Harry Potter films, so personally I'm not interested, but I can see how fans of the films would be.

It's definitely more of a "how the films were made" experience than an actual theme park "immersive" experience though, which is what I'm sure a lot of people will think they're getting.

It will be enormously popular I'm sure, but I'm equally sure that there will be quite a lot of very unsatisfied customers thinking that they're getting some "Wizarding World" thing.
