Wanda have been building some pretty interesting parks these last few years but 2017 is a slow year for them with only Wanda City Harbin due to open. However 2018 sees another group of parks set to open with Wuxi, Guangzhou and Chengdu on the cards.
While quite a lot is known about the plans for Wuxi and Guangzhou the Chengdu park has been a bit of a mystery. However they have started releasing some concept art seen below.

The park is down as a late 2018 early 2019 opening but it's one I'll be keeping an eye on.

Wow! Is that a top hat or a vertical spike on the launch coaster? That wooden coaster reminds me of scenic railways. Coolio.

Harbin? What/where is that? Somewhere in the middle of nowhere in China? Never heard of it...

*looks up on Wikipedia*

Oh. It's a city roughly the size of Washington, D.C. More people live within its sub-provincial city limits than in Sweden. And the other cities mentioned, Guangzhou and Chengdu, are even larger. Well, it only makes sense that parks are being built there.

Harbin is the place with the ice festival. Would love to visit that but don't imagine the parks will be open at the same time of year.

That's my issue with Harbin. It would need to be visited twice - once for the ice festival and again for creds. I've been putting it off for ages.

I've done the ice festival and as expected all the creds were shut. I imagine -27 Degrees C is under the operating limits by quite some margin.
However the Ice Festival is one of the single coolest things I've ever seen. And at the time the best cred there was a knock off SLC anyway.
If you do goto the Ice Festival now though EONTime should be open as its indoors

Anyone notice how the Intamin coaster is very similar to Superman at Warner Bros in Australia. The main difference being the 2 airtime hills don't cross over. Otherwise the element order is identical.

If that's the case, then that's fab. Superman is probably my favourite accelerator.
