Tripsdrill's owners in a recent interview have shared that they are looking into options for adding a dark ride, either before or at the latest in 2029 for the park's 100th anniversary.
The 2024 addition beside Volldampf appears to be a small flat ride, speculated online to perhaps be an ART Wild Swing.

SourceThe Tripsdrill adventure park continues to plan its future. He has planned a smaller attraction for the 2024 season, but a major investment will follow in the next few years.
In June 2020, the adventure park Tripsdrill invested several million euros with the opening of "Hals über Kopf", a Suspended Thrill Coaster, and "Volldampf", a Boomerang Coaster. Since then, the amusement park has been selectively improved by smaller attractions. Also in 2024, a new ride will be created not far from "Volldampf". However, the next "big thing" is already being planned.
The Swabian Post quotes Helmut Fischer, managing director of the Tripsdrill adventure park, in an interview that it would open by 2029 at the latest. "For the 100-year-anniversary in 2029, that would be something, but maybe even earlier...," said Fischer. He also explained which attraction he and his brother Roland have in mind: It's about a themed dark ride.
Helmut Fischer: "Whether you need 3D glasses for this, have to shoot anything, is still unclear. But it is clear that sooner or later we will open a dark ride." The 69-year-old was particularly impressed by the Dark-Ride "Mouse au Chocolat" in Phantasialand in Brühl near Cologne. This interactive, seven-minute 3D dark ride was opened in 2011 and was built by ETF Ride Systems. "A great theme with the bakery, up to the piping bag," enthuses Fischer.
Another roller coaster is currently not on the agenda. Roland Fischer explained: "Not for the time being, we are well stocked with the six roller coasters for the time being. If we open attractions in the coming years, they will be some that are not yet everywhere. We already have a few ideas for the period until 2026."
