Top Thrill Dragster has celebrated its 10th year of operation at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Top Thrill Dragster opened as the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the world in 2003, and was the first roller coaster to top 400 ft.
To celebrate, Cedar Point has created a behind-the-scenes video for Top Thrill Dragster operations. While the roller coaster was plagued with downtime and maintenance troubles when it initially opened, time has treated the roller coaster well as Cedar Point developed an appropriate maintenance schedule for this behemoth. For instance, did you know that Cedar Point has an entire third shift of maintenance workers solely dedicated to inspecting Top Thrill Dragster after the park closes?
