According to coastersandmore there is a rumor about a new coaster for Tivoli delivered by Gerstlauer opening in 2014. - Would be pretty cool since Tivoli Gardens is my home park although I won't admit it.

Weiterhin ist zu vernehmen, dass Gerstlauer 2014 eine Achterbahn für das Tivoli in Kopenhagen liefern soll, welche im Orient-Themenbereich hinter dem Floorless Coaster von Bolliger&Mabillard einen festen Standort finden könnte. Das Tivoli plant schon seit längerem an einem familientauglichen LSM-Coaster. Wenn man bedenkt, wie perfekt Gerstlauer bereits im schwedischen Gröna Lund den eigentlich nicht vorhandenen Platz genutzt hat, um den Boblsed Coaster Vilda Musen zu integrieren, dann macht das Hoffnung auf eine weitere spannende Installation.

It says "family-friendly LSM", i.e. Anubis. Once again, more of these is not a bad thing! <3

I'm taking it that this is literally just a rumour at this stage though, or is there any evidence to make it seem a bit more likely to actually happen?

I can't read Danish (or German) whatever the language but it says at the bottom about bobsled coaster Vilda Musen at Grona Lund. Maybe they could be doing their first LSM launch bobsled coaster

^Nah, I think it's far more likely that they chose that as an example, as it's the one that people in Denmark are most likely to have heard of. Maybe. Can you imagine wild mouse turns on a launch coaster? ARGH!

They mention Vilda Musen as it's a very compact coaster that interacts with the surrounding coasters, because the new one at Tivoli Gardens will most likely be that as well.

Also, their old wooden scenic railway will be 100 years in 2014 and what better way to celebrate than to build a new coaster?

Vilda Musen was entirely designed and calculated by the Werner Stengel firm.
Sure Gerstlauer provided the ride, but all the credit goes to Stengel (who actually refused the project at first, because they found it to hard).

^ By the way, Werner Stengel isn't a 'they', he is a person, Stengel Engineering is the company :)

Tivoli just announced that they will rebuild the original 'mountain tops' on the old 'Rutschebanen' in 2014, celebrating it's 100 years of operation.

Rumors says that their Huss Flic Flac ride "Dragen" is having it's last year.
Maybe it'll make room for the new coaster?

^Oh no! That's a great fun ride! What's up with all the scandinavian parks removing their good flats? Last year it was Gröna Lund removing their top scan...

Not really sad to see it go now when there's an Air race instead.

The ride got new restraints recently if I remember correctly. that might have been to make it more attractively to a potential buyer.

Don't really see how removing it will open more space for a new coaster tough, except for a station building, it will be interesting to see how this develops.
