What's new

Things you love about the enthusiast community.

Giga Poster
- That the straightaway before Raptor's cobra roll has a name: the "Skyrider Section".

- That we're thoughtful enough to include Honey Boo Boo's mom in our header featuring the Kennywood Racer.

I really enjoy new ride openings. After months and months of talking about it, there's a lovely atmosphere when everybody is goony over it in person. The queue could be enormous but everybody is excited and happy. There's also the discussion and (sometimes) applause after riding it for the first time. Lots of people wearing ride t-shirts standing around taking photos. Those are the days when I love the enthusiast community.

Thanks!

I love the fact we can take the "what is a cred" argument so far! (I count alpine coasters and those toboggan run things!)

Nothing. Y'all are twats.

I guess watching the live stream of the Banshee announcement was pretty cool. It's awesome that we can all get so giddy over something so novel.

Combined knowledge I guess. Comes in handy when you've got questions, are planning trips or even just learning about other parks.

The atmosphere during a ERT, the gaytalk (in Belgium, almost 50% of the enthusiasts are gay), the inside jokes, ...

The humor. This is something I specifically love about CF, rather than the entire enthusiast community: but I get several big laughs a day reading the CF forums and so many at the Lives <3

Also, the way enthusiasts can speak in 'coaster language' to each other. If I ever goon out with a non-enthusiast I see their eyes glaze over with boredom, but with another enthusiast they light up with excitement and hours of conversation will follow!

Started nerding out with some German sounding fellows at the NRCMA exhibit at Dollywood... Girlfriend just walked away.
