The road to Super Bowl 50- who you got?

Super Bowl 50 is almost here, and the NFC and AFC championship games are coming up this weekend. Who you got reaching and winning the Super Bowl? Both conferences are tough picks for me. I want the Cardinals to win the NFCCG, but I think the Panthers will pull it off and reach the Super Bowl. On the AFC side, that's a lot tougher for me. Denver has the stronger defense, but New England has the better offense. I would love to see New England lose, and I think Denver will pull it off. So I have Carolina vs. Denver in Super Bowl Sunday.

I think it'll be the Cardinals at New England, with the Patriots taking home the Lombardi Trophy once again.

Although I wanted the Bears to win...

I really hope the Pats don't win again....

I've Had the Cardinals winning the Super Bowl since the playoff's started. At this point I've got the Cardinals over the Pats in the Big game

In order I'd probably go Cardinals Patriots Broncos Panthers.

That's of what I want, what I reckon is probably Panthers Patriots Cardinals Broncos.

Basically, **** Peyton, no fan of Newton and his showboating, I love Brady but would much rather Arizona win it just for a change.

Wow I got that wrong completely.

I think Carolina will win now.

Can someone explain to me how #keeppounding is the hashtag of the Carolina team?

Like, seriously?

Keep pounding?

WHY?!

Something to do with POUNDING it into the endzone when running with the ball, I think. Think it's a common phrase commentators use when they give the ball to the running back and he just runs through people.

Seriously.

Sounds about right. Carolina is more of a running team as their Wide Receiver depth (even though 2 of their starters went to Ohio State) is questionable.

A lot of sexual names in football Ben. Wide Receiver and Tight End for positions.. not counting the names for those teams who run the ball quite often.

I'll roll with Carolina though, as there are a number of Buckeyes on the team and they're much more likable then Denver.

Wow, we all suck at this.

10-24 Denver final. Peyton's still deciding what to do with his career.

Btw, did anyone else think this was a bit of a letdown for Superbowl 50? The halftime show was meh(although Coldplay <3), there weren't many notable commercials, and it was broad daylight for half of the game.

Also, this was next to CGA, if anyone wanted to know.

Coldplay was garbage, as was the entire halftime show. The game was defense dominated, which is why it was seen as "meh."

The officiating was pretty slanted, the non catch was clearly a catch, two blatant PI misses, the offsides no call on missed field goal, but the play calling by Carolina was absolute ****.

I guess this is only watchable in the United States (unless you're a true fan of sport/teams that are playing), where the commercials are somewhat watchable. Here you probably lose your nerves when the same commercial for Bananas is played for the 10th time during the first 30 minutes of 'the game'...

Yeah agree with Tomahawk, officials were woeful, missed some huge calls but don't think they will have changed the overall result that much. That non catch at the start though was woeful.

Saying goes true, defences win championships. Was a **** game in terms of quality but it was what was expected tbh.

Half time show was horrific but then I hate all those involved in it, dislike the entire concept of it and it's part of the commercialisation of the sport that I hope doesn't creep in over here. Had more people tweeting about the **** adverts than the actual game.

Yeah I felt that half time show was not as great as recent ones. Coldplay was good in it, Beyonce and Bruno ruined it for me lol. Defense dominated that game. Commercials were pretty great, quite a few weird and out of the ordinary (cough Mt. Dew Kickstarter cough), and that savage Doritos commercial with the baby. Great.

Oh yeah forgot about that. It was freaking broad daylight for half of the game including half time show. They can't really control that. I mean they can, by not starting so early, 5:30 central time, why? Why not 6:30 or 7?!?
