Looks like that time of year is upon us once more! Construction fences clad in teaser posters are going up, dirt is getting pushed around, and the rumor mill is once again chugging away with whispers of what new coasters might be opening up next spring. So as with every year, here's a thread to sort of tie all that together and get our crystal balls out (same ones we use to tell Basic Becky the wait times at Cedar Point at 2:47 pm on a rainy Tuesday in June) and start making those educated guesses!
Carowinds: Mack double launch called Copperhead Strike, themed to a farm infested by snakes
Dorney Park: Lightly themed GCI Woodie where Stinger was, possibly with layout tropes similar to Renegade, some kind of regional reference in theming
Kennywood: Either S&S Air Launch or Mack terrain hyper similar to DC Rivals Hypercoaster
Six Flags Great America: Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster clone, same theme and everything
Hersheypark: Entrance refurbishment
Kings Island: Racer refurbishment, similar to what Dorney recently had done to Thunderhawk
Cedar Point: Larson Loop
Kentucky Kingdom: Waterpark investment ($1 million minimum investment is required each year per their lease)
It's still early but that's what I'm going to throw out there for now.
