Just announced at IAAPA, Storyland in Glen, NH will be adding a Gravity Group family wood coaster.

Via both IAAPA and Amusement Today's twitter feed - https://twitter.com/amusementtoday/stat ... 5742032897 - The announcement was at 12:45 but not much as come out since.

Yay Storyland! By far the best kiddie park I've been to (and grew up with!) and If this coaster is anything like Wooden Warrior at Quassy, it'll be a winner with family's for sure!

EDIT - Name has been announced now, Roarasaurus!
Get Ready to Roar! 20 Nov 13 - Posted by The Gravity Group

A dinosaur is going to roar into Story Land in Glen, New Hampshire in the spring of 2014. Dubbed Roar-O-Saurus, this smaller wooden coaster twists and turns at a frenetic pace over its 1242ft (379m) long track. Dropping 38.5 ft (12m) passengers will experience 12 unique airtime moments in the ride’s state-of-the-art Timberliner trains as well as fly through a curving tunnel.

Awesomeness! I've gone to Story Land the last two years with my little cousins and little brother. Hope I get to ride this next year!

I regret not getting the Wooden Warrior cred when I was up that way last year. Maybe I can swing a weekend and pick up a few of the small New England parks next year! :)

ITS AMAZING (for its size) but even when judged against any coasters.. its still extremely good. I rode it opening year when visiting my family (the day after Hurricane Irene hit the northeast).. My dad who never rerides stuff took 4 or 5 rides with me that day. If Roar is anything like Warrior, it'll for sure be a winner... and not just with family's.

And if anyone wants to see what the park looks like, I've got more than a few photos of it here from 2005 - http://www.coasterwiki.org/cgi-bin/pics ... yland_2005 - Being a New Englander myself, I visited the park pretty much every summer growing up and Storyland has continued to expand and become better. I'm always surprised it never places in the Golden Tickets for kid/family park because it excels in that department and is better than all the ones I've been to (but maayyybbe Idlewild)

Story Land is still one of my favorites. I went every year when I was little with my grandparents and have gone back these last two years and still had a blast. Brings back awesome memories. I did a trip report on it this year.

I can pretty much gurantee that I will be there next summer with my grandparents and little brother. Hopefully he will grow so he can get on his first coaster ever.

^ Especially if that bloke is putting it up by himself.

This baby is moving right along in spite of the weather.

Only one small section left to go and the support structure will be complete.
