I’ve never seen so many people disappointed in a ride as I did the past trip yesterday to St. Louis Six Flags and the Boss. Quite a decent layout, especially for a park like STL which is smaller market. Quite a great ride. Except it’s a season behind repairs I feel.
It’s jackhammering and slamming into turns so hard right now it was shocking to me. (I take the kids many times a year every year - hundreds of rides over 10+ years).
A dad rode solo due to que, and his wife and younger daughter were in que, the second he got off he called them and told them that it was too rough for her.
Multiple other people literally said things such as “wow that was waaaay rougher than it used to be”.
Im unsure of this parks investment plans - as in I’m unsure their current environment even lets them afford to retrack in anyway, but if this ride doesn’t get tlc it could go away. The layout with Schilke/RMC could be world class.
plz steel boss me.
Wish I could post some content to show. If you like the park or the ride id suggest you consider it could die.
