A light pole fell onto a roller coaster car at Disney's Animal Kingdom Wednesday, forcing the closure of the ride for more than an hour, a company spokeswoman said.

The pole fell, apparently in strong, rainstorm-driven winds, in the late afternoon, authorities said.
It hit the car on Expedition Everest, a ride designed to look like a train.

Disney said no one was taken to the hospital, but the theme park could not say whether anyone was sitting in the car when the pole fell.

Damn poles! Coming on our roller coasters and stopping us from riding them...

^ No he isn't doubting it's truth, the joke was the use of 'poles' rather than 'polls'... get it? :roll:
 
Well, to be honest, it's Disney. They'd class a large supports as a small pol if it's going to hinder anybody's opinion on spending money in their parks ;)
