What's new

Six flags may lose several licenses in 2011

"Tony Hawk" "Wiggles" and "Thomas&q? what does that mean?

Fortunately I know what this is about. Right now, it's not exactly confirmed, just a whole lot of rumbling. BUT if it is true, then the only thing we're going to see is a LOT of different names next year.

Justin.. what the hell does the topic title mean?

As far as the topic at hand.. it happens?

I.....didn't do that I copy and pasted the title right from Theme Park Review....I guess I'll take the blame for it. I don't think I'm that stupid to purposely write Thomas&q.

And its should say lose several licences, not loose.

Lose = When something disappears from your ownership, eg "If you don't put your wallet in a locker you may lose it on the ride."

Loose = Opposite of tight, eg "His seatbelt was loose so he fell out and died."

Dick = A slang word for penis. "Ah mate, your penis is flopping out"

Dick Head = People who slag other people for something so anal. "Ah that geezer over there is a right dick head"

Shut = The act of closing or blocking of a passage. "He shut the door."

Shut up = The act of closing your ****ing mouths to allow others to speak. "Those damn CF'ers need to shut up."

Six Flags Fiesta Texas already seems to have started the process of handing out new names to not only the Wiggles World attractions but to Tony Hawk’s Big Spin as well.If you look at the list of rides to be open for Holiday In The Park you’ll see:
Tony Hawk’s Big Spin is now simply called “Big Spin”
Big Red Cars is now listed as “Cartoon Cars”
Big Red Planes is now “Junior Barnstormer”
Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy is now ‘Flying Fruit Cups”
Romp Bomp A Stomp is now “Kiddie Coaster”
And the SS Feathersword is now listed as “Pirate’s Playship”

So the renaming is done:
Terminator Salvation: The Ride -> Apocalypse
Evel Knievel -> American Thunder
Romp Bomp A Stomp -> Kiddie Coaster
and the already mentioned:
Tony Hawk’s Big Spin ->Big Spin

I can't be bothered to look up all the flat ride name changes.

Terminator Salvation: The Ride -> Apocalypse

That only opened in 2009... surely they're license' last longer than 2 years?

Also, their Thomas Land is similar to the Drayton one, isn't it? If so, they'll probably have to remove the whole land including the rides?

Unless they just rip the faces off!
