Six Flags Brackets UPDATED 8/11

Ok for those of you that don't have a Facebook, and for those who HAVE a Facebook but aren't a fan of Six Flags, Six Flags is having the "Tournament of Thrills" where the ultimate coasters face off. Here are the brackets so far. If it's pale white, it was eliminated.

The current battle is: Mr. Freeze at Six Flags St. Louis
vs.
Superman: Krypton Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

I will post a new topic with the winner after the current face off is over. You can post your opinions about the results in any of the face-offs.
 
Hmmmm, quite a shameless attempt by Six Flags to make out that all the best coasters are in their parks. It's quite a smart advertising ploy really.
 
Well, considering that Le Monstre at La Ronde beat El Toro, I wouldn't sat this is the most accurate poll out there, haha.

I'm gonna vote for Mr. Freeze, and in the next one I'm voting Nitro.
 
Krypton>Mr. Freeze. ^ I know you haven't been on Krypton so it's hard for you to judge.
 
^ TBH I'm not a huge fan of loopers, I mean, it looks good but I do like my launches and there's somethin about Mr. Freeze I just found really fun. Not a fantastic coaster but I was laughing pretty much the whole time. It's good though, has a decent launch, and some good forces, plus I really enjoyed the inverted top hat.
 
I do too I have one every time I go to SFOT. I voted for Krypton because I think, although Mr. Freeze is an AWESOME ride, I think Krypton coaster is better. Even though Mr. Freeze is winning. :P

(Oh and in case you didn't notice, I have Mr. Freeze as my avatar AND on my sig so you know :wink:)
 
idk know why it's red. I got re-painted in '07. i wasn't here at the time so I didn't get to see it when it was blue. :( (Oh and just making sure you know this IS the one at Over Texas.)

Yeah, I kind of have to agree. You kind of have to take sample size into account either; maybe there were about 6 people from New Jersey and 20 million Canadians with nothing to do but vote. So yeah, I don't really think it's much of a contest, and Runaway Mine Train will probably end up beating Kingda Ka, but I still vote anwyays. It's funny reading all the "FIRST!!! I LUV EL TOR ITS NUMBORE ONE N CANUDEH SUX MY HARY BALZ." Facebook comments too. :lol:

Well, I haven't been able to go on either, so my opinion probably sucks, but I like the looks of Krypton better. I voted for it.
 
I love it. I'm going back for my birthday (two weeks!) and taking more pictures for here.

Haha, I highly doubt it, considering we're the second biggest country in the world, and have like, three half decent parks. But I'm sure all of the Canadian voters (besides me of course) voted for Monstre because like you said, they're biased and probably know nothing else and have been to no other parks due to our lack of them :P .
 
^ Yea that's probably it. I still don't see how Toro lost though. I think either Americans don't care, or we're just too lazy to vote. I think whoever wins this goes against X2.
