What are the 5 SCARIEST rides you have ever been on?

it takes alot to scare me but i would have to say

Tower of Terror - WDW
XS Alien Encounter (Defunct) - WDW
High Roller (Defunct) - Vegas
Space Mountain - WDW
Catapult - SFNE
 
Seriously, Space Mountain ;:)

The rides that scare me (thrill wise)
Saw: The Ride
Oblivion
Apocalypse
Hurakan Condor
Detonator

Yes drops scare me! :lol:
 
^ Saw looks pretty nasty lol
but if drops scare you stay away from tower of terror. i find drop towers and S&S Towers lame and Tower of Terror scares the life out of me.
 
If I was going to write a list of rides which genuinely scare me ****less, they'd all be drop towers. But lets be a little more... varied...

Detonator
Ultimate
Blackpool Mouse
Shockwave (DM)

Hm, all UK rides. I can't think of anything traumatic in the US, though.
 
^ Then you should ride Tower of Terror
Sudden drops and lots of em. you have no clue whats going to happen every single time you ride it.

and its really too bad that XS Alien Encounter is gone too...
 
I don't really know what order I'd rank mine from least scariest to most scariest so I'll just list them. :p

Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey - Islands of Adventure
Oblivion - Alton Towers
SheiKra - Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Jaws - Universal Studios Florida
Dinosaur - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Detonator - Thorpe Park
Apocalypse (Stand-Up with floor) - Drayton Manor
Hurakan Condor - PortAventura
 
Insanity- Stratosphere
XScream-Stratosphere
Big Shot- Stratosphere
Drop Tower- Kings Island
And pretty much every other drop tower out there. As far as coasters are concerned, Ka and Dragster are pretty scary.
 
^U ever go on High Roller (its in my top 5) when it was still up there? they replaced it with Xscream!


And Xscream isnt a ride anymore in my book...
its just pure fear.
 
^Well canyon Blaster gave me quite a scare like 7 years ago, and Speed looks pretty intense.
You need to get down to LC and hit up their Haunted Graveyard in the fall. It's the scariest halloween attraction ive ever visited.
 
High Roller just went round in a circle... *yawn*

I'd go with...

Insanity
Kingda Ka
PMBO (the lift makes me cry cause it feels like it'll derail on the drop)
Apocalypse (stand-up with a floor side)
That horrid Ghost Train at Blackpool </3
 
I'd go for the following:

1. Air Diver - the one on the end of Brighton Pier purely because of where it is, although it is good! :D

2. Star Flyers - I've only ridden one and it was quite daunting - not sure I'd repeat it.
 
Um, Tower of Terror (WDW), Dinosaur (Animal Kingdom) startled me really badly and I cried my first time on (when I was like 7 :p ), Mummy the first time, Twister the first time, Jaws the first time, and Alien Encounter.

Oh, and Small World.

^ I chickened out of riding that when I was like, eight, because some little boy came off screaming and crying, looking quite trauamtized. What happens in it?
 
^ You sit in a pitch black room pinned to a seat by a hydraulic OTSR, and michanical hoses like feel your your head and animatronic alien arms rip out at you, and its different for every seat. you can feel the thing like climbing on your shoulders and like attacking you as it leaps around the room attacking people.
I went on it when i was like 6 or 7. so about 11 years ago, my memories slightly fogged but there is a wikipedia page of it. look up ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
 
I've really only been terrified by one ride and it was fairly recent; Possessed at Dorney.
