I remember it was little over 14 years ago when PMBO was the tallest, fastest and steepest roller coaster in the world. I remember in an interview Jim Rowlands (the then manager of PB) saying 'Nothing will go as high or as fast as that. Its going to have the record for a long time.' Now, not only have they gone higher and faster but even in this country records are flooding in. Mumbo Jumbo will steal steepest, Stealth has fastest, Ultimate longest etc. Now all PMBO has is tallest. I think when 'X' and 'Eijenaika' was unveiled the limit of endurance was closed upon. I think it is a good idea to focus on visual effects and tension by means of creating an experience, but I believe Saw is a poor example as the pre-ride is actually rather lame.
