RCT3 - Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Sandman

Giga Poster
Since my computer can't handle the greatness of Planet Coaster, I've recently decided to spend a bit of time on an old project - a recreation of Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Seen a few attempts on YouTube etc, but don't think anyone has managed to overcome many of the limits of RCT3. I've not done that much yet to be honest, just been trying to nail the layouts and placements of rides. Lots to be done - probably gonna be stressful but I enjoy a challenge.

I'll get some better screenshots once more progress has been made. Some of the rides need a bit of re-jigging as I begin to add more into the park, but I'll get there.

Question for any RCT3 players out there. Do you have any idea how to create the circled pieces below? I've spent a lot of time looking for suitable CS packs to achieve this, but I'm struggling to find anything.

Looks pretty good so far! Loving the look of the woodies and infusion!

As for the Big Dipper CS, if it's not out there, you might just have to make it yourself(Although I could've sworn I've seen it out there before...)

I'll admit that it's been a very long time since I played RCT3, but that SLC looks fishy to me. Is it a custom ride type, or a scenery object, or...?

The SLC is a CT (custom track). Built on NoLimits and formatted to RCT3. If I can get exact replicas like that, then I'll use 'em. Means I can spend more time on the little details. Unfortunately, it's only Infusion I can do that for though, the rest will have to be compromised layouts. Stay tuned!

So, I've spent a bit of spare time on this, but it's still very early on; lots to be done. After some trial and error with coaster layouts and whatnot, I soon realised there will have to be several compromises made in order to get the most overall 'realistic' version of Pleasure Beach. With RCT3's limitations, it's pretty damn difficult to nail the actual shape of the park, so to keep all the distances accurate, a lot of rides have elongated sections etc.

At the moment, I'm working on the south end of the park just trying to get the terrain sorted and figure out the path layouts/ride interactions with the very useful Google Maps 3D (godsend). Once I start on the paths and buildings, it should start looking more like the place.

Here are some pretty cruddy screenshots:
