Plopsaland insiders

Roller Poster
Hello people,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Bit of a random question but I'm really curious.

I visited Plopsaland for the first time this week. Got there on Tuesday and was having a great time, mostly taking photos/soaking it in, until suddenly i awake on the floor surrounded by park staff and medics. The last thing i remember was looking at my watch and thinking "****, my HR is really high".

Does anyone on here have any staff mates/insiders that might be able to provide insight as to what transpired? Was there any discussions between said staff/insiders?

Took a day off and went back yesterday but forgot to ask as i was too busy making up for what I missed.

I also forgot to ask at the hospital in my haste to leave. They did CT scans and some blood tests. I was given IV Valium and a plasma drip. Along with a script for Valium to take at night.

My Dr is aware of it and I'm going to see him next week. I'm just a bit baffled.

I will of course contact the park.

Sorry for the weird question.

On another note, does anyone think RtH is just a little overrated? It's fantastic but i rode Hyperia for the couple of days before and that poops all over RtH IMO.

Thanks
Jamie

I suspect the chances of someone reading the forum, working at plopsa, and being in the area at the time this happened are pretty slim. You'd be better off contacting the park to see if they have an incident report, or speaking to your own doctor. Hopefully they should get a discharge summary from the hospital which can give more detail about what they thought was going on at the hospital. Even if they haven't, there are a few clues in what you've said that would make certain causes more likely then others, and your own doctor should be able to pick up on those and ask some more questions to help get to the bottom of it.

I second David's response, but on the topic of RTH, I also have Hyperia ranked above it - simply because I cannot stand the jojo roll. The rest of the coaster is better than Hyperia, but you're going to put me through that before I get to the fun bit? You get marked down.

Thanks, yeah I agree but thought it was worth a shot anways. I contacted the park & hospital. Seeing GP tomorrow.

yeah I don't mind the Jojo roll. I love the ride but it wasn't the life changing ride people made it out to be. It's a sick ride but I was a bit underwhelmed, probably built it up in my head too much. I probably wasn't feeling it as much due to circumstances too. Hyperia, was the opposite. My expectations weren't as high and it blew me away, especially in the back row.

I got annual passes for both parks so I've go an excuse to get more visits in and make my mind up definitively.
