Yeah, I've always thought CF needs a snowblower, they're just so useful.
I find though that they are best when it snows a lot. You see that's what they're designed for, to blow snow, I think that's where the name snowblower comes from. So say, for example, you live in a semi-detached house in Yorkshire (which is in England in case you didn't realise), and you have a reasonably heavy snowfall one evening and you wake to find your car is stuck due to the snow, or in fact you have trouble opening the front door, which of course could happen, then the snow blower is very useful in clearing the said snow from the areas which have trapped you. Now whether a snow blower actually blows the snow away (which I'd consider quite pointless as it would only move the problem somewhere else, wouldn't it?) or if it blows hot air and so melts the snow (which also has it's downside as this could freeze the following night creating a slip hazard, then you'd need an ice blower which is an extra expense you don't want to fork out for), anyway I digress, this is about snow blowers, not ice blowers. So, what was I saying? Ahh yes, so whether a snow blower actually blows the snow away or melts it I'm not entirely sure but I may be worth looking into before you buy for the reasons I've just given.
Of course, if you're lucky and you live in an avenue around about Autumn (or fall for you Americans) and all the trees lose their leaves (they 'fall', which I believe is why the season is called 'fall') then the snowblower could potentially double up as a leaf blower, I know that's perhaps a little farfetched but with your snowblower, the sky's the limit, although having said that you'd need a pretty strong one if you wanted it to double as a jetpack as well and if it does, then who knows what the limit is!
So I just want to say good luck with your snowblower and do please let us know how it goes for you
