Today I went for my first full visit of 2013 to Lightwater Valley. Got to the park really early, and went for some breakfast. But there is new stuff at the entrance!

Also you may of noticed the new ticket booths...
Also you can see the new Angry Birds area is under construction. Apparently it is already BIGGER than Sundown's one!
Went inside the building where you used to get tickets from. Very big area, could be used for something like a entry show, currently quite redundant =[ Though the shop in this area has been converted to all Angry Birds stuff. All reasonably priced, considering it is AB stuff!
Went inside the park. Lightwater Falconry (Formerly Talon Falconry) is now part of the park entrance fee. Different layout, and get to see all of the birds on display. There will be a new flying show later this year. As I was exiting I spotted Meames (Martyn of T-Park), and he spotted me. Went around the falconry again.
So first up was the carousel. Then it was time for the rest of the park to open, over to Trauma Tower, as we were with Martyn's little one. Decided to head over to Caterpillar, but saw the train in the station, so headed over the, Martyn's son tripped and fell over grazing his hand and knee, so off to first aid we go. Patched up, and called for Martyn's sister to look after him. And went over to Ultimate.
Not too much of a queue, but Martyn noticed the front load of people were not far enough forward and we discovered front row was free. Epic win! Nice to blow out the cobwebs, but was a bit cold. A big highlight of Ultimate was the new music in the station works soo well, but was a bit quiet in places. Across the whole park, all the cheesy pop music has gone!
So a quick ride underground on Raptor Attack, needed to meet back up with Martyn's sister, but on the way we did Twister as it had new queue. Did several other rides including Falls of Terror etc. Got some lunch, and it was time for the new magic show in the theatre!
Good magic show by the 2 on site magicians. Well worth a watch. Now it was onto Eagles Claw, with the soundtrack! Worked so well. Also we had to have a look at Eagle Creek Farm. Looks pretty good. Couple more rides all over the place, including Raptor Attack and the Skate Karts to end the day!
Really good day with some good friends. Lightwater are trying to put a lot of effort with the music. And seem to be going the right direction. And Angry Birds will be a excellent addition, and a huge size!
